It doesn't work at all on fashion items (Haven't tested gear yet).
I can open the change appearance tab. I can select a bottle of dye. However, the previewed appearance doesn't change, neither does the actual appearance of the item while being worn after applying the dye
The bottle of dye was consumed. I was using dyes from the zen store on the Noble Finery items.
