How many GG and Domination games have to end up as complete stomps one way or the other before developers realize that playing PvP just to stomp or get stomped isn't fun and doesn't do anyone any good?

    For example:

    1,340 to 20
As a result the losing team spends the remainder of time by the campfire to avoid just handing kills to the other team.

^ This is about 8/10 matches I attend in PvP and I know I am not alone. If you really want to call this "PvP," so be it. I don't really see it that way though. Maybe with module six, who knows...

I don't see stomps that often in Domination. Then again my PVP HR is only 14k. As I keep saying, PVP actually is balanced (with the exception of TR) at the lower levels. It is only at the higher levels where they are all lopsided.

But Gauntylgrym PVP, yeah, every single match that I have played except maybe 1 or 2, has been a lopsided stomping. I have given up ever trying to complete the GG PVP part of the campaign, there is just no way of even completing the first two or three tasks if it will take hundreds and hundreds of matches just to reach one or two achievements out of ten.

It is usually just stomp or be stomped.

    To stomp:

    1. You want a decent gearscore. That is not impossible with low-priced t2 gear on the ah.

    2. You want to do well in pvp even if you lose every match. People will notice your persistence, your domination skill, and how difficult it is to kill you.

    3. After being stomped send a friendly personal message to the best player on the other team. Send them a friend request. Ask them if they want to team up.

    4. Repeat 3. After awhile you will have a full friendlist of great pvp players and will almost always have a solid premade to pvp in.

The leader board isn't just about wins and losses or exploits, it is about being social and team building. Being good at team-building also adds value to you in terms of being in a guild. Even if you are not great, your ability to team with good players consistently, and win consistently, will get you into a decent pvp guild.

I'm sorry but this advice is bordering on trollish.

It is not hard to get a GS of about 13k-15k, sure, with cheap T2 gear, cheap artifacts and cheap enchants. But a 15k of any class gets stomped by the 24k monsters running around GG PVP. ESPECIALLY since virtually every fight in GG PVP is a 3v1 or higher. No one will notice "how difficult it is to kill you" because it won't be difficult at all.

not everyone has unlimited time and a 100% free schedule that allows them to choose when they can game. Some of us have a things we that prohibit us from being able to play at anything other than specific time windows and we make the best of the gaming time we have when we can. The answer is not as simple as just Q up at a different time for most.

I was talking about game time per 24 hour daily period.

Q up during the 30 minute window...you must be a luskan. I have Q'd at various times, and there is no constant in when I will get a pop and get to join in. Mostly I Q during the first minute as soon as possible, but have Qd within 1st 5, 10 and 20 minutes. Delz side is very slow and erratic pops.

I am talking about domination, sorry. GG is another matter entirely. And beyond a 5k gs gap, forget about it.

Hmn, I know when I queue up in the first minute it is almost always a Delzoun dominated match.

That I am betting _IS_ a time of day thing, I noticed the top PVP guilds are on a lot later in my time zone and if I want some wins in GG, I need to Q up at an earlier time or just pray I get in a GG match that does not have most of those top PVP guilds in it. I have not seen many spawn camps as a delz lately, but I also try not to stay there unless I can't find anything when roaming the map and no npcs to kill.

I like to queue up with 5-6 minutes left. 30 minutes is just too long, even if the match starts out somewhat competitive it becomes clear within 5-10 minutes which side is going to win, at which point the losing side just starts sitting around trying to get the match to end as soon as possible and it snowballs into a spawn camp. A 5 minute match may be just as lopsided but at least I don't have to wait long for it to end.
