Augment Companions

Has anyone seen any information on possible stat changes for augment companions? With the new stat curve I am thinking this will be a pretty big nerf to the augment companions.

    Why shall we upgrade them. Stats are zero now... only 400HP. When I add items I get their bonuses 1:1. No extra 15% or anything. Still bugged...

    Considering the ai of non-augments just makes things worse, it doesn't really matter as they are the only option still.
