I think SW need some boost for shift. If you think it over control immune is nothing cause every other class has also control immune or dodge which is the same as control immune. 30% dmg reduction is also nothing compare to full resistance (ala dodge) or GF block. Another problem is a cost. TR lvl 1 can dodge 4 times in row that is around 4 sec of complete immunity on dmg and control. SW can hold shift for around 5 sec- the problem is at high lvl when people have a stamina regen. If SW hold shift it almost wont go up and if he jsut click it for around 0,5 sec it will still cost like 1 sec of holding and prevent you from getting it back for another sec. But if TR use dodge, he already got like almost half of it back before he even finish rolling- this way he can use dodge for more then 6 times in row. This lead to another problem of distance. TR dodge vs SW shift is like that from base 1 TR can get behind base 2 on full stamina but sw will end before base 2 (tested with friend).
Maybe it will looks like I am just talking about TR and SW but it is just because difference between them is outstanding.
Not even talking about that if you use dazze on dodging target it will have no effect, but if you get dazzed in shifting on sw it will end it even though you should be immune on control.
My suggestion is to increase DMG resist to over 50% (or even 75%) and fixing it so if you are immune to control= then yo u are immune on even a dazze. Or totally remaking it. SW are most squishy class in pvp and that if a know fact.
Otherwise of the fact that our present shift is only shared with the GWF, I wouldnt mind it being remade into a dodge more like the CW's, cleric's, or TR's.
