First off i don't find the stat curve to be a bad idea its self. However the amount of the percentage that is loss from a stat is super excessive. It is not reasonable for a person to have 22 charisma 5500 crit strike and only get 30% crit. And that's only at lvl 66. It will be worst at lvl 70 im sure.
It seems to me that this is an attempt to have a blanket stat change. And that is very wrong in its self. Because there is no one size fits all in mmos. Due to all classes having different needs. Not to mention that these changes do not go along well with the thought of introducing rank 12 enchants. Seeing how badly the DR is on stats do you honestly believe that majority of your current best in slot player base would invest in them? I cannot speak for others but for me it would be a waste.
Changing such stats as recovery, crit, and life steal effects ever class differently. From the cw side of things its a heavy hit. Seeing how life steal adds to our ability to live dramatically. For those classes that have a great deal of deflect, hp, cc immunity, more dodges than god, and that being naturally given to them it will not do much to them. If you truly wish to balance people being unkillable you need to look at the 3 stats that make it happen. Life steal, deflect and cc immunity. And hell its been complained about over and over again right here in this very forum to no avail. Certain classes have been given these stats in vast abundance.
Solution to your problem is the content its self not changing stats. I think its a bit of arrogance from the devs side. I say this because the approach I have always seen is the "lets tone the player down not our content up because its totally fine". One time have I seen that happen and its with the dragon HE's. Other than that honestly I do not recall. For the record a player never can become to strong. That very strength is measured by your content right? A few clicks of a button can make a BIS player be owned by a t1 boss. However you guys never do that. Its always "lets change the player skills". To me the devs honestly make more work for themselves. Wouldn't it be a hell of a lot easier to simply make the dungeons harder??? That of which I hear you are working on. Its indeed a start.
However this is kinda like burning both ends of the candle. You cannot nerf stats hard as you have and hurt those who ranked up enchants through grinding, or zen. Then expect them to support the rank 12 introductions. Put simply they will not have faith nor trust going forward to remotely commit the resources to make those said enchants.
Solutions
1. reduce the stat curve by at least 50%. I agree that we should loose some stats as we lvl. This is standard in most mmos. However you have to take into account the enchants. As it stands right now you are taking away the incentive of ranking them up. Which im sure is not your goal because theres money involved there. Lets face it NW would not be here if it didn't make money. (not saying the company is greedy)
2. rank 11 and rank 12 should be godly. Why? because as it stands now it will take 2 r10's to make 1 r11 and 4 r10's to make 1 r12. that said
r11 600 to a single stat r12 1000 to a single stat. Is how it should be. If the currently RP/resources needed stay the same there has to be more incentive to actually rank these items up and not just 40 points or so per lvl.
3. Do something with the rp to help the lower geared get to legendary. However after that point. Have no mercy on the RP required to get it to lvl 80 or 120. Because that's as it should be. At legendary they would have access to all slots on the gear. That's more than fair enough. As for why no RP love maxing it out? That's because its not necessary to do so. That's for us board end gamers with more AD then sense. Yea they will cry about it but guess what? The still will lvl it then go back to crying about being board lol standard mmo stuff... Its not a must have.
My thoughs, my suggestions. never perfect, troll away XD
i still think that if they dont want to change the new curves they at least have to change the actual enchantments to give a flat bonuses.
rank 12 as it's now is another madness. If really needed they should change the requirements for upgrading after rank 10 (like a rank 10 and 15 greater marks would be fine right? )

Its beyond that really. They are suppose to make it to be 400 of any stat will grant 1%. Even this is to high, and once again. The blanket stat change is not a good idea. Some stats have a high DR for a reason. Others a low DR once again for a reason. If they are seriously going to play with the stats then they should do it per class per lvl. That would be the correct way to do it.
Honestly if they made it to where 300 points of a stat granted 1% it would still be more than a 30% stat loss. However that's a hell of a lot more reasonable than the proposed 400.... I agree the rank 12 thing is yet more madness but I will welcome it if its fruitful. But sure as hell not for 80 points more of a stat......
Theres no logical reason for them to introduce such a robbing of stats and claim the content shall be beefed up as well. 300 points for 1% would be reasonable. A pain in the *** but reasonable...
the new stat curves are ok, in mod0 we didnt get much more than now, dont forget that these curves must support many mods of new gear, hopefully better each mod not like t2 that was BiS from launch til mod5

Disagree about enchants. The new curves, plus the fact that hopefully enchants stay on the same curve as now starts moving us away from the p2w track the game was starting to go down. Less effective difference between say r7 and r10 is a great thing for the game.
I like the new stat curve. Will provide a nice high ceiling for future content. Its like launch again with most players being roughly the same power. At least for a few weeks
I like the new curves. It makes things far more challenging. It will make different builds far more viable, and allow for stacking of different stats than before.
I only have two concerns:
- Movement Speed is impossible to get anything noticeable from
- Are new players going to be able to do level 61 content immediately once reaching 60, and if so, will they be able to keep up?
