Black ICE Set with new Mod V6

Here a sugg about black ice set.
with the incomming change about item lvl i suggest to add new lvl on the black ice set. Why, black ice set require constant black ice to feed it up. The only reason that actually black ice still active is PVP and with the incomming drow set, there won't be anymore reason to use it (you can find other set on same lvl without any requirement to feed it up constantly).
So for me black ice should always remain better since it have the need to be feed up

    Or making it level up with some quests and maybe a 4rth level of black ice shaping ... Anyways, the new drow set will still be the same 4 set bonus as other pvp set so some class won't need it and will stay with black ice probably ...

    Well Black Ice is easier to acquire - so maybe people will still use those till they can afford 4/4 drow gear.
    But i like the idea of adding a new Tier!

    how about taking black ice set and add it as an enchant, the drow set will borrow 10% of the black ice gear's properties.

    Black ice equipment is not that easy at least if you want the x4 piece with the glove. with the last drop chance i remember you need more than 100 epic encounter to eventually get it. on opposite drow set will probably be accessible around 100 k glory + maybe 60-70 seal. Black ice already not used in PVE. only those who play pvp still use it. And honestly the drow set with is capacity to be personalised. giving same point lvl, twice the tenactiy lvl and all that with slot enchant and a t4 bonus better for pvp. and that with a medium time of play around same lvl to get it and that while playing content that make you win some AD.
    So yes new tier that still permit black ice equip to be better than other available equipment is a good compensation for the fact that it is an endless black ice needer

    I like the idea of doing something with the black ice set. Agree with making another tier or 2. Also:

    1. All the black ice gear has black ice resist stat. Suggest adding an aura that does black ice damage when attacked. Similar to how briarthorn works, nothing crazy here just some damage would be cool
    2. Re-visit the procs from having black ice weapon set. I believe the current cool down is over a min. Reducing this would make them more popular. Given the dragon glyphs significantly out damage the 2 piece bonus it could make them more appealing.

    Basically outside of mod 3, there is no point to black ice anything anymore. It would be nice to change this

    I will give you a good solving method: BI empowerment T4 which is as same as or slightly better than lvl 70 epics.

    It would be a total bull**** to change the BI set, its from mod 3 and if you have to farm/play in IWD as lvl 70 against lvl 60 this would suck balls. There should be no other set than pvp set for pvp. I actually dont like the way it works atm. I would like too see that a fresh lvl 60 should get at least the grim set for free or maybe for gold in mod 6 so they couldnt get stomped in pvp. If you had interest to increase the population in pvp and reach a "competitive" lvl you would see this. BI set is outdatet and this empowerment bull**** sucks never seen a game where you have to farm pve stuff for bis pvp gear -.-' GW2 is flawless in that case you can pvp with lvl 1 there is "no gear" your gear in pvp is just a skin its all about skill not about who got bis gear...and if you guys want a too increase it just for pve get over it this is just like it is in every mmo when there is a increased lvl cap, its silly enough you can still use it in mod5 and deal decent dmg.

    This is the best idea anyone could come up with. Just extend the empowerment bar to the right and charge something like 15k BI to "unlock" new tier.

    15k BI x 6 = 90k BI for unlocking...
    1k-2k+ raw BI refine each day... OMG too expensive!!!

    fyi iwd will auto level you to 70. I had copied a char that was in iwp on friday and i was bumped up to lvl 70 for being in that zone.

    Ok, those were just random numbers out of the top of my head, I have something better: create a quest at lvl 70 that would give you an item needed to unlock T4.

    You can salvage it for black ice only :>

    I agree, 90k BI to unlock, plus up to 2k BI per gear everyday is a lot of black ice, and refiment takes to long also.

    In order for black ice to stay relevant, they have to add T4 empowerment. Its already semi-obsolete at mod 5 and with even better gear coming, no one will bother getting gear which you need to feed (it was justified when it was BiS) and IWD will be deserted.

    Interesting. Were the mobs still LVL61-65 ?

    Or they could just make gloves and MH purchasable like all the other gear for RAW BI.

    Then they can convert the HE rewards over to RP rewards instead of the random HAMSTER you get now.

    how about a Blood Ruby if you get the highest tier for things like Beholder? Want people to DO those events, give them alot of Rp for them!

    Same goes for Open World Domination.

    Winner should get like black opals or something.
