Exclusive Promotion Companions

Does anyone know what the passive bonuses are on any of these companions particularly the higher tier ones like the Lava Galeb Dhur or Harper Bard? It would also be nice to know the quality of companion; green, blue, purple? I would also like to have the details of their powers, stats, type of slots (defense or offense), etc. This would be very helpful for me in making a decision to participate in the promotion.

*sigh*

Two more companions I can acquire but can't bind because of the 96-slot limit.
Harper Chronicles: Cap Snatchers (RELEASED) - NW-DPUTABC6X
Blood Magic (RELEASED) - NW-DUU2P7HCO
Children of the Fey (RELEASED) - NW-DKSSAPFPF
Buried Under Blacklake (WIP) - NW-DEDV2PAEP
The Redcap Rebels (WIP) - NW-DO23AFHFH

How many companions are there total so far? I knew they had to be getting close to the per-character limit but I had no idea they'd surpassed it already.

Normally companions like this show up early on the Gateway collections page for inspection, but these ones do not. They're weird about promo companions showing up on the collections page, they insist they shouldn't be there, but then things like the Powrie, Sargeant Knox, and Priestess of Sune are.

Yeah, looks interesting, but I'd love to see some more info on the pets.

Thank you!

The Volcanic Galeb Duhr /facepalm, it should work the opposite, 10% dmg bonus if you have full HP and less according to the missing % of HP. :P

How often is the skeletal dog re-released. Here I was holding onto some from the actual event and now they've gone from 600k+ to ~120k. Awesome

I know! I've got seven of the HAMSTER. They went down as low as 25K after they gave away 5000 of them for free during a livestream, at least the price of them has recovered from that somewhat. I suppose they're being released so often because it was part of the launch event, which probably won't be happening again (except for possibly on the XBone version when that one launches).

I just don't understand what's wrong with having a unique pet? If it came from a one time event it should be a one time pet. They made it sound like it would never be re-released (as they do for a lot of things...I'm looking at you Lillend..) Kinda messed up imo.

I kinda prefer that stuff be 'linked' to a particular event at least, since the launch event won't be happening again, I could understand them not ever re-releasing the pet. However. I do think a lot of people would be bothered if they missed a particular event and lost their chance to get something specific forever.

Though I kinda wish they were worth more, since six of the ones I saved were also actually from the launch event (I got one of the free ones from the livestream), I'm not too upset about them being released every so often.

Also maybe we should change the title of this thread. There's nothing "Exclusive" about Neverwinter companions. They'll all be back one way or another.

If they're re-releasing them to make people not upset they're only making another group of people upset. If one misses an event why are they entitled to the prizes that came with it? Oh yeah... because $$$

They probably mean 'Exclusive' in the way that "This is the only way you can get these companions right now." Excepting if there's ones on the AH I guess.

Again, the skeletal dogs (and to a lesser extent, the Sune priestesses) are the only companions that are being released outside the context of the event they're associated with. Most of the others, their events have simply been repeated. This kind of reward program is repeated often as well, thought not always with BoE companions.

Personally, I just wish they'd bring back the damned Fey Wolf. It was Charge Rewards item for the very first time they did it, and it hasn't been back, so I missed my chance at it.

And the lesson for anyone considering buying that large slab of Zen for the exclusive pet is that the exclusivity may not last forever. It's only exclusive at the point when you buy it. Unless there is a specific statement that it will never be available ever again then assume it will resurface in another promotion somewhere, someplace, somehow. In the meantime, enjoy being in the millionaires' club for a while. I suspect not too many folk will drop 10,000 Zen at a time.

they write the compagnions are bound, later its said they are bound on equip, so they are bound to your account and bound to the char if u equip them?

The latter. They bind when you equip them.

Does anyone happen to know if these are account wide or just on one character?

I gotta give Cryptic kudos. They EXPLICITLY stated all pets were one-time BoE claims. That's a huge change from past promotions. Good job!

Cryptic helped me to quit smoking. I cannot afford to buy cigarettes anymore (luckily), because i buy zen instead. Buying zen can be very healthy. Btw. 10.000 zen is less than 100 euro, aka. no biggie. No clue why people keep crying over free items, lol.

Thank you, Cryptic.

in the german translation there is a sentence : "Alle Gefährten können nur einmal angefordert werden und sind gebunden."
this mean in english : all compagnions can only be requested once and are -->bound<--
going on in the text every compagnion ist BoE, so what do i have to believe, since they will be transfered 28.01.,
i allways read the hole text it is contradictory

All I want is the Ioun stone of radiance promo (or something similar, account wide augment) back. Pretty please.

I wasn't playing the game at the time and account wide augment is so valuable.

So I just transferred a bunch of Zen to NW (i.e., I transferred it from my account with the AD Exchange to a character in NW) and now......I see nothing. Just when/how does this work?

You have to purchase it with real money and transfer it to the neverwinter game.

You should learn the difference between a free item and a promotional item
