On 5/14/15, I completed a 2K epic dungeon. My total kills were 145. I have five regular Dragon Hoard Enchantments equipped (I unequipped and re-equipped before starting the dungeon). At the published 10% rate, I should've received 14 to 15 RP drops. INSTEAD, I received a single minor resonance stone - ONE!!
After spending 1M AD to refine these five enchants to regular status, I am essentially getting zero benefit. Can someone please explain why this is so screwed up?!
Thanks,
Jorm

10% chance doesn't mean you would have been guaranteed to get 14~15 rp drops. It is a chance, you were probably unlucky. Chance doesn't care how many times you do it. Each event is independent from each other.

That's true, but there are also two cooldown timers mentioned nowhere in the tooltip, because "bots"...
The tool tip is wrong and they are also throttled to how much you can actually get per hour. It was done to "fight botters" officially, but had no effect on them while forcing you to use your cc.
Yes I know you do not have to use your cc, but grinding for years is not fun. I will also note that Panderus said he is looking into it to see if they over nerfed it.
I startet with five Lesser Dragon Hoard enchantments. After three or four days i had my 100.000 AD cost to create the enchantments back only by playing the game, not farming. With 5% you drop most likely Peridots, White Pearls, Minor Ressonance Stones and sometimes an Aquamarin. "Rare Drops" are Lesser Resonance Stones and Flawless Saphire. I only got one Black Opal in a Week.
After this i continued with five "normal" Dragon Hoard enchantments which results in 10% drop rate. To create one normal enchantment it will cost you aditional ~280.000 AD. Which means five normal Dragon Hoard enchantments will cost 1.500.000 AD (inlcuding the costs of Lesser Dragon Hoard enchantments) if you use Rank 4 enchantments. I had my return of investment after a bit more then two weeks. The result is you drop more often and better refinenemt stuff. You get lesser of the white pearls and minor resonance stones and get more of the other stuff. Within the two weeks i got nearly one black pearl per day or two days. I played the game normal and only farmed if i had to wait for a queue or didn't know what to do in the game (in total i think it was like 4 hours of farming in two weeks).
Now i own five Greater Dragon Hoard enchantments. The costs are high and you will pay at least ~4.750.000 AD not including the price of the green Wards. But you get better drops. Most likely you get Peridots. With a few more Aqauamarine. What increased was the drop of Flawless Saphire while the chance of a Black Opal seems stuck. If a Ressonance Stones drop i have the feeling it is now a 50/50 chance to get a minor or an lesser. White Pearls are still in the drop table but only 20-30% of my drops now.
In the normal World you have a cooldown of 30 seconds. In Foundrys i am not sure if it really is a 2 Minute cooldown or only a system behind which reconize if you kill too much monsters in short time because most foundrys are only monster spams.
I now switched to make space in my "Neverwinter Time" for one hour farming per day. Today i got like 20 White Pearls, 55 Peridots, 10 Aquamarin, 4 Flawless Saphire, 20 minor Ressonance Stones, 20 lesser Ressonance Stones and 0 Black Opal. This means i made like 124.500 refining points in one hour with greater dragon hoard enchantments. This would mean it would take ~20 hours of farming to get your AD back from the greater refining stones as bound RP with a ratio of 2 AD per 1 RP.
Best farming place seems Well of Dragon or Rothe Valley (Dragon Area) or similar Areas close to the old Dragon spawns.
Very very true. Been using 5 great hoards for 3 months now. Aquamarine and peridot all day with a nice side of opals. Im a 2x refine pig and save up for it usually. I have sold TEN black op since last 2x ref... Gets better and better.
