How about an update?

I know many of us were hoping the fix for Tiamat entering its second attackable phase would finally be coming on Thursday and were quite disappointed when it did not. When we hit tier 4 tonight through massive donations, and then get lucky enough to get into a strong well coordinated group it should be a good thing, but when it bugged in the first few minutes I can't tell you how disappointing it was.

I am hoping to get an update on what's going on with fixes for Neverwinter's 2 month old premiere content that still has incredible lag even on potent hardware with settings at minimum and has a showstopper bug that ruins the whole thing for 25 players at a time. I like the battle, its hectic and fun. I think most of us like it, but really want to hear whats being done to fix it. I'm sure if you put up different test builds on owlbear (with timer removed so it can start when an instance hits 25 ppl) and announced the need for test parties using the admin message system we could help you knock out some testing pretty quick if you let us. We are frustrated, but are ready to help if we can.

    Honest opinion, I think they're on mod 6 now and nothing more will be done. I'm feeling bitter and cynical tonight though.

    Let's see if their hype is true, now we wait.

    At this point, to me, something BIG would be something that actually WORKS

    I've stopped bothering with Tiamat at this point. My blood pressure is more important.

    Same here. The lag problems everytime there are more than 2 dc's in the party near me get me too frustrated. It's dead content to me at this point.

    My hope, honestly, is that Module 6 is a "beauty pass" over the game - fixing the most problematic areas, touching up some places that are lacking, making running T1 and t2 dungeons worthwhile again, and so on. At the same time, I'd like to see a coming together of various groups we encountered on our way to 60 - much like how Dread Ring and Well of Dragons brought together various people we met previously.

    I guess you guys are right, maybe they are gonna just leave it like this. I gave up on Tiamat for a while too, thinking if I waited a couple of weeks it would be fixed. A couple of months later its still the same mess and maybe I should just give up too..

    Let me remind you it took pretty close to a year to fix the CN door bug. Almost a year, for a door.

    Oh and we still didn't get 2xglory.

    Well I sure hope they announce whatever Mod6 is supposed to be soon so we can see what was so important that their current content has been left to rot.
