New LV 60 TR, what gear should i be aiming for?(PVE for now)

I tried to look around but a lot of the info seems to be outdated, need advice.

For now i'm just doing pve, currently have 12.6k gs.......so obviously i'm a complete ****. Can anybody tell me what the best pve gear set is for a TR.(for crit i guess as that seems to be what i'm building atm) I'm currently using the full Swashbuckling gear set for my left gear and a zealot cloak and ring on the right along with a blue ring and a decent purple shirt/pants that i was gifted. Should i be in the Well of Dragons trying to get those artifact weapons or what. tbh i'm completely lost....

Basically i need to know what gear to aim for so i don't waste time trying to get bad gear.

Any help would be appreciated. ;)

For PvE you're going to want to look something like:
    Corrupted Black Ice Mask
    Corrupted Black Ice Armor
    Corrupted Black Ice Gloves

    Horn of the Golden Dragon
    Golden Dragon Stiletto

    Corrupted Black Ice Boots

    Cloak of Black Ice
    Personalized Archmage's Ring +6
    Personalized Archmage's Ring +6

    Girdle of Strength
    Gemmed Exquisite Shirt
    Gemmed Exquisite Pants

With that being said, there's definitely some cheaper started items you can get, such as:
Ring of Pain if you have eLol unlocked
    Ancient Slavemaster's Ring of Control
    Ancient Excorcist's Neck of Blessings

    Smiting Belt of Cruelty
start with either the Ancient weapon set or BI weapon set until you can get the artifact ones.

You'll always want an augment companion. Basically stack as much power on it as possible.

keep the swash, thats going to be ur pve set for whole game pretty much. get ur hands on a set of tier 2 weapons - dread legion daggers or buy the ancient spy masters. those alone wil lgive u alot of crit so u can focus ur other items on other stats. i would try to buy the ancient spy master daggers, because the main ahnd is very cheap rite now, but if ur budget is tight unlock the 50k dungeon Valindras tower get the daggers from the end chest there. these will hold u down till u get ur artifact main and off hand. dont rush to get these yet untill you get the mainhand first, cuz u shud spend time doing the dungeons to get ad for refinement points. so wait to get the main hand and mean while use ur tier 2 daggers to farm AD to refine ur weapons and enchantments.

edit*** so once u get those tier 2 weapons make alot of ad with them till u resaarch ur artifact main hand

think u should try to start building up your gear score very high. use the rings in the drake seal store because those have very close stats to the ancient castle ones which are very expensive and they are purples lol :D,

ancient rings on AH are pretty cheap. Especially if you dont mind stacking deflection. I lol'd a little at the post with all the black ice gear. Swash is pretty awesome for TR's .. basically gives u 1k power 1k recovery close to the beginning of every fight. Personally, I chose to go with Draconic set for rings/necklace -- but i would quickly swap it for artifact cloak/some of the rings from eLoL. I like higher HP so im okay with the defense slotted ring.

I think the biggest thing you can do as an early 60 to improve your character is invest in rank 6 enchants and get your 2 empty artifact slots filled (and ranked to blue). This bugs me the most out of anything when queueing into t2's or CN is people who run with empty enchant slots and empty arti slots. Rank 5's will cost u less than 15k AD for the most part and rank 6's shouldnt take u more than a week or 2. Rank 7's can get expensive as you'll most likely want several radiants which have been going for about 85-90k lately. Stacking your ioun stone with lesser bonding stones helps as well (30-40k) You probably already have a vorpal.. and I recommend Barkshield or soulforge (barkshield isnt a popular recommendation but i find between stealth and itc *if* i get hit it's usually only once so barkshield is enough .. I prefer the high HP method to avoid one shots instead of soul forged)
Bedlam: Creating chaos as a MI Exec TR
    Avariel Merilwen: Burn baby, MoF/Rene
Aejun The Silver: Devoted to Healing, DevOP/Justice
    Mina Rosepetal: Super Natural, Pathfinder/Melee
    Frost: Benchwarmer, Soulbinder/Fury

IMO, make sure to have 24% armor pen, 35-40% crit chance, and as much power as you can. Also need some HP. Please dont be one of those PVE TRs running around with 22k HP. You need at least 30k, especially in places like eLoL. Stick with Swash, black ice gear is not best for PVE. You can go the Draconic Templar route if you want to work towards something. Believe it or not, Profound Scoundrel gear is also good for PVE. Many PVE TRs use 2 piece sets from VT and MC, gives you lots of power. I personally prefer 4 piece sets.

And yes, keep grinding those dailies and move along in the campaigns for artifact gear. Use your 2nd character slot to lvl up a DC alt and get a Devoted Cleric Sigil. You can pvp for the raven artifact, only 24k glory. A banner if you really enjoy pvp but different gear than swash is needed. If you're looking for a guild, Defiant is the way to go. We are experienced players who really enjoy helping out the new guys with anything from answering questions to dungeon runs. Go soulforge for armor enchant, vorpal for weapon too btw. Also lifesteal is important for PVE TR, about 10%.

If you're Whisperknife Executioner, then the Draconic set is very good for you.

One of the final class feats you can grab is called Advantageous Position. It gives you combat advantage for 6 seconds after leaving stealth(base +15% damage). With the Draconic set, you gain an extra 10% bonus damage on top of that(plus however much you've invested into CHA). Executioner endcap feat, Shadow of Demise, increases your stealth regen and prevents your regen from ever stopping(you lose stealth by taking damage, but the regen never pauses after taking damage). You can add Twilight Adept(+10% stealth when you dodge) to gain stealth faster. Adding any of the Greater Black Ice enchantments will give you a temporary stat boost as well as a chunk of action point gain.

This setup allows you to have much more sustained damage coming out, which is very essential to late game PVE.

It honestly depends how much you intend to spend on your TR. I have a mod 5 budget PVE build for TR, which aims at providing players with weaker gear the opportunity to excel in PVE, when played correctly. However, that build is not designed with end game in mind in terms of getting the best gear, although I do provide a list of what things to aim for beyond the builds budget, within my post itself.

Hi. Any updates on this now that Mod 5 makes many changes on everything? There are many new gears too which may completely change the way TR builds goes.

    Thanks
