Put the item Heart Blue Dragon to sell, but I put the wrong starting bid , far below , and already have a bid, as have I cancel the auction? thank you :(:(:(

    There is no way to cancel once you have a bid, if you know someone they can bid it up for you but thats about it.

    Take the 10% loss and buy it out yourself. You can buy out your own items using another char on the same account on the gateway. It's the way I transfer ADs on the preview server because the ZAX isn't available there.

    //removed. I was redundant with what others have said; buy it out yourself on an alt or if you can't afford that then make the highest bid you can and hope for the best.

    You actually cant do that anymore. It got changed a few months back. You cant bid or buy out any item listed by other characters on the same account. You must use an alternate account or a trusted friend.

    Ah, yes: one of the 'gold-farmer' "diminish profits" mechanics.

    I forgot about that. All I can add to this thread is the common-sense ideas of "never rush anything" where money (real or virtual) is concerned. When I post stuff I always triple-check my prices and when I error I al;ways tend to error on the over-priced side. That way it's easy to cancel the listing and then realist it, the posting fee being my punishment for not paying attention.

    It will be fine. The price will most likely end up close to the true value. I've tried to "snipe" cheap stuff at the last minute off the AH and it almost always ends up bidding up to a sensible price.

    Actually I just tested it and it works. From the gateway, not ingame.

    That's interesting. I had assumed that if you cant do in game, you simply couldn't do it. It would seem that when they programmed in that change they left a loophole. I'm curious if the powers that be, are even aware of it.
