Game Laucher doesnt load or load forever

A friend of mine has having this problem where her game launcher loads forever and she can never starts the game. Plus, when she can get in, she says she is frequently disconected. The game launcher loads forever even before she puts the password in. Any help?
Observation: She doesnt speak english, so she asked my help to post here.

    It sounds like a bad connection to me. A combination of high ping, loss, and port throttling is likely making the launcher time out, then even when it does connect the same problems lead to disconnects. Just a guess from what you've said. Have her run a pathping to check the ping and loss, and then the cryptic nettest. This will tell if I'm right and potentially also where the connection is. Sometimes it's far off and there isn't much you can do, sometimes it's right near you and calling your isp can help.
