GWF - Is Onslaught/Disciple of War Bugged?

Quick test, AOW trigger onslaught, look at Character Sheet, looks like Disciple of War's 1/4 of recovery generated from Onslaught doesn't get added to the Character sheet as Power (ie the Recovery that AOW adds during onslaught). Anybody check to see if it's a character sheet bug or an actual bug?

It is indeed a bug. It also applies to Steely Defense. Any temporary reco, armpen or defense you get from either potions, elixirs, or buffs from other players will not translate into power.

Correct. just checked with a greater blue glyph on, the defense indeed translated into power. Too bad other buffs dont :/

Im sure I saw a dev post that some things are excluded from example Disciple of War mechanics, because it would result in more buffing than they like. Same reason why Augmented Stats aren't taken into account.

Sure theres a lot to "cry about". Please just use the search option before opening threads left and right...

which is a shame if this is true, due GF's Gran Regent set in example, grants power based on deffense yet, if a "passive" (lets call it that way) gives more defense, the GF will get the bonus from the set.

Defense has a better scaling for GWF than GF. GFs already gets plenty of Defense through their class specific gear and the fact they got a shield as offhand.
GWF has no block mechanic is naturally more vunerable. His sets have more focus on Offensive stats.
Thats why you can give a GF a stronger set mechanic that would be otherwise totally broken on a GWF.
And don't worry we got Steely Defense (20% Defense converted into Power) and Disciple of War (25% Armor Penetration and Recovery converted into Power).
