I originally posted this in the "bug" forum, but now think this may be intentional, and thus should be addressed here.
Guardian Fighters seem to not correctly apply their "Guard" damage resistance to Temporary HP. Given a significant number of their abilities(Into the Fray, Iron Warrior) and feats (Grit, Take Measure, and Wrathful Warrior) rely on Temp. HP, this should be addressed.
All that ends up happening when blocking with temp. HP is the Guard meter is drained, to no benefit to the fighter, and without proc'ing "guarded assault" or other shield buffs, essentially disabling guarding (your character will hold his shield up but take full damage) as long as the player has temp HP, and leaving that player with a drained guard meter... even if a cleric or other well-meaning player applies it, it still prevents the guard from functioning and drains the meter as if it were doing something.
Let me know if this is somehow just me. If in the likely case it isn't, shouldn't this be changed or is it intentional that Gf is stunted when he has temp HP?
