When tiamat comes up, i changed my set of black ice, to drac templar.

So, my black ice set now is on bank without use. Its bided, even if i savage it, i will got back the ice but, still no use.

So, i wasted about 40 days farming/waiting craft hours, and now i worth nothing.

My suggestion is make any new itens to buy, or any way to sell the black ice, or exchange for AD or buy on AH.

Thats all, only an idea.

Sorry for bad english :D

Black ice is mostly a pvp gear. For pve very very few classes should be using it, draconic templar, or really anything but a t2, (sometimes t1). Even though the items have less stats, the set bonuses are so incredibly much better that you will lose effective power by using something else even though it will give you a higher gs. There are some exceptions to this, but not many. If you didn't want to pvp with the black ice gear there wasn't really any point to crafting it.

Well, so did I waste my time leveling Weaponsmithing so I could craft my Fomorian Longbow, but it was worth it, since it was BiS at the time.
You can always keep your Black Ice set stashed in your bank, in case you want to run a few Kessell's.

It's still BiS for pvp. Gear should get outdated anyway. Not quite the case since beta sets are often better for pve.

yeah the fact that the original sets are best a year and a half later is odd.

If I recall correctly, the devs stated that they don't want to make new sets a lot better because it would cause power creep (the irony tho), so they create thrash sets to let players fake choice diversity.

How long have you had it? And you've had the benefit for that long...... you DID get something for that time spent! It still has use, so again you are still getting benefit from it if you choose to use it. Making out that you are hard done-by with this is frankly laughable.

Correction, they don't want to cause a power creep with stuff you can't really pay for.

This is because I said about the irony.
