Curses can be Deflected - wasn't i concentrating hard enough when i applied it?

This is really not sensible.
They are small enough damage as it is.

So you come up against a high deflect build, and lesser curse gets applied for some reason.
It gets deflected, and it does maybe 100 dmg, then the other guy has fey thistle and returns 1k dmg to you.

So we have a core mechanic of SW that actually does 10-1 dmg against you.

Consider that a curse is a power that has its roots in your soul's sacrifice to your patron.
Is this the patron's sense of humor coming through, maybe it was in the fine print of the contract.

In my opinion, a curse should be considered 100% unresistible dmg at the dmg levels it is at the moment.
This 1 change would give rise to some very interesting SW builds and may help bring some fun into pvp for SW's.

Moreover, you can kill yourself if you curse at an enemy who has feythistle boon.


UPD Wait you use deadly curse for pvp?

Yeh its great that you can commit suicide by just being you.

Edit- maybe a TR/GWF should be able to accidentally cut themselves and it causes them to bleed to death too?

Some poky overly confident smoke bomb + DF TRs usually do when I have rebuke and WB + curse on them.
The cast time is just too pitiful.

btw I love when TR's think that Duelist Flurry will kill me ;p
Just like when other SW's think they are going to kill someone with Dread Theft lol except they too dumb to use Bargain First

So I never really got into the whole lesser curse thing, I was using those Feats along with Scornful Curse/Deadly curse, Daughters Promise and parting Blasphemy while leveling/ boon grinding. the only time it was ever useful was when I was ripping through Mini dungeons as fast as possible
