After the first two disastrous attempts to contact customer services in which i was fobbed off in appalling fashion, I finally managed to connect with someone who could be bothered to talk to me, and appreciated the fact that i am actually a customer.
They first asked me to provide a picture of my character's history page, presumably to see if i had abused the multi-god exploit (i hadn't, I only learned of it when reading this forum to see if any others were experiencing my problem.)
For good measure, I also provided a picture of my powers page showing that "points available" did not alter when selecting powers, and of my feats page, showing the message saying i have uncommitted points after pressing the commit changes button.
When they were happy that i wasn't a cheat, they suggested that i "Force verify" my installation which caused a re-patch of 2506MB of data, but that didn't help either.
They haven't come back to me since, but i guess the office closes sometimes.
Point blank: This is a support matter. Forum personnel cannot--I repeat, cannot assist you by any means. Forum personnel cannot reset your character nor are they authorized to gift you ANY item. If you have been advised to post a bug report thread/ingame bug report, then that is all that can be done. That IS the resolution to your matter. Bug reports are not responded to by staff unless your issue requires more information, and even then a fix is not guaranteed within any given timeframe.

You were also advised of the Rules of Conduct prohibiting reposting of CS responses. If you have any further issues with forum moderation, as per the Rules of Conduct you agreed to when you created your forum account, use the PM system or support website to address said issue as opposed to reposting a closed thread--which is a violation of RoC, and you are risking your posting privilege by doing so.
