This thread has been created to point out some crippling issues with guard, that have been here scince the rework, and do in fact affect all content the class can do and all aspect of said class.

This is the first. A better image, now.

Now, what your seeing is what happens when you press forward, and basic attack with aggravating stab.
The character model turns at a degree slightly off center. This would not be crippling, if it did not remove your block protection.

While in this state, you do not gain CC immunity, and you do not block any attack directed at your front. You still drain stamina while in this mode.

This happens every time you hold W while blocking, and make a basic attack. The effect is immediately dispelled when you move to the side, or simply stop holding W while blocking, however, the instinct of the player (Or at least mine) is to do this.

As the result, You promptly get hit full damage from something in lair of losmoth, and die.

This simply needs to be fixed. It's crippling to the class in the higher end PVE content, and all PVP content.

Added to page 261 of things that need to be fixed.
Hopefully the 4 programmers that work on this game can keep up with releasing new content and fixing bugs.

Although from what I've seen they tend to just skip bug fixing and wait until they change it entirely.

actually some highlight hint on the floor or something else , that point where GF's guard area start and ends would be really helpful.
