Coz it has no shards, best option is to buy stacks of r4 (since those r sadly cheap right now) and use them, one stack gives u around 12.5k rp (more like 14-15k with crits) and bronze is r8 iirc, so u need ~100k rp to make, do the math.

If you want bonus RP points, you can use peridots, but they are expensive as hell nowdays, so I would avoid that option.
You can buy them already refined on the AH. I sold my unrefined G.Bronze and bought refined G.Bronze, and ended up making a slight profit.
Why not? I started using Greater Bronzewood few months ago because of its RP value (RP as in Role-Play), and ended up really liking it. It suits my rotation, and it gives solid 12% straight damage bonus for 10 seconds, which is more than enough to kill mobs. It's only a little less effective with bosses because of its ICD, so it gives only 6% damage bonus, but that is also nice, considering its price.

Rank 4 stacks: 0.37 AD/rp if you can get them for 5k a stack with no match bonus.

9. stack of r4: 12.5k RP for 5k ad (0.4 ad per RP), but int can crit, so usualy 15k(my experience with many stacks) rp for exactly 4.9k, and right now it is: 0.33 RP per AD
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Now, about bronze, i liked it in old days, but compare it to at least not so much more expensiv lesser PF.
If I always waited for you to finish the OP would have passed away before you came up with your answer.
But yes, bronzewood is a poor mans plaguefire that doesn't help the party. I used to say that bronzewood was pretty good as a cheap alternative, however with fallen enchant prices, I'd say there's nothing really special about it anymore.

Nice, thanks for the analysis! However, that is still expensive considering the fact how cheap they were before...
Now that you mentioned GPF, I've noticed just few days ago how dirt cheap the Plaguefire is. It's almost the same as Bronzewood.
Anyhow, I'm not claiming that Bronzewood is the best, or among the best, but only that it's not bad. It does its job.
It's not all about numbers in Role Playing Games. Is there any other enchantment with leaves and butterflies? I think not.
Just look at it.
Too bad it can't be displayed while on a mount.
Which is fair enough, but the majority probably care more for the numbers :P
