Hi guys. Anyone know how work "Tenacious Concealment"? I have 90% + 10%(from artifact weapon) = 100% but my stealth still goes down after every attack! So, how really work this passive skill?
it prevents stealth loss after being struck by an enemy not viceversa
Kidding me? I know it, but still dont understand, when enemy attacked me, that "100%" dont work! My stealth still goes down like a without this passive skil.
The correct answer would be "Nobody knows for sure how it works".
I've extensively tested the combination of Tenacious Concealment, and its power augment provided through the artifact offhand. What I can say for sure with absolute certainty is that TenCon+augment will:
perfectly protect your stealth meter when you are out of stealth. This means no matter how often and how strongly you are attacked, your stealth meter will NEVER be hacked away. It stops regeneration, but that's it
it also protects your stealth meter while you are in stealth. No amount of attacks will shave it off in chunks
HOWEVER, for some strange reason, while your stealth meter DOES NOT get damaged, the natural stealth depletion rate IS effected when you are damaged in stealth. It speeds up.
this wierd phenomenon first manifested when they implemented the
"bigger damage = bigger stealth meter damage" system during the preview. Prior to that, TenCon+augment perfectly protected your stealth meter in every situation
How I've confirmed above findings: with a friendly TR I've tested it out by asking the TR to engage in PotB, and then while being hit with PotB, I entered stealth and started measuring the time it took for my stealth to deplete. The results I've observed is as follows.
under normal circumstances, my stealth lasts approx. 9 seconds
while being hit with PotB, I entered stealth
I observed and confirmed that my stealth meter is not "hacked away" with any of the PotB attacks landing
however, as the hits landed, my stealth meter started depleting at a noticeably faster rate
end result: my stealth lasted for approx. 6.5 seconds
It seems (after the 'changes' to stealth meter damage) that when we are damaged while in stealth, the system not only damages our stealth meter, but also speeds up the natural depletion rate. So TenCon+augment protects our stealth meter, but doesn't offer protection against the stealth depletion rate speeding up.
Wierd, eh?
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

..... this is so ******ed i dont even know where to start...
tenCon + offhand is like nerfing ourself if i took it right ....
Its really simple when they attack you while in stealth without TC your stealth bar will deplete rapidly it will only takes 3 to 4 hit to deplete it but when you have TC in your tab you can take up to 8 to 10 hits before the stealth deplete to zero, maximum of 90 percent that means + 4 to 5 hits.

What makes it not-so-simple, is that prior to the "bigger damage = bigger stealth damage" change, TenCon+augment protected you perfectly as it should. I could stand smack in the middle of stealthed-potb and still the stealth meter would calmly run for the full duration.
It was only after the "bigger damage = bigger stealth damage" change that the stealth meter suddenly received the 'hit will make it deplete quicker' feature. I've posted about this as a possible bug in the preview forums but never got an answer, and the TR players weren't even interested in it.
