Dragon Coffers

Has anybody else noticed that the dragon coffers often appear during fights, and you see the name flash by after something dies, but when you go picking stuff up there is no coffer?

What happens to these ghost coffers, are there weird coffer bugs under the sand that come up and eat them?

Maybe its a different kind of bug, flying bugs that grab em before they hit the ground?

I dunno, but if anyone figures it out, please let me know. I'll go hunt those bugs down for the huge cache of coffers they have stored somewhere :)

    I ate them. They were tasty.

    In all seriousness I haven't noticed that bug OP. I'll keep an eye out for it to see if I can replicate your problem though.

    I have never experienced that bug, and I have picked up a lot of them.
    Coffers are shared between party members, and maybe it just got picked up by someone else from your party?

    Yes I see it happen during group fights. I can see the coffer but someone gets faster than me to pick it.

    Yea, if it was just group fights I would figure someone else grabbed it too. I've noticed it mostly solo as I expect to find it after the fight, but nothing is there.

    Not a huge issue as I end up with lots in the backpacks too, just a bit of anomaly I was wondering if others had seen.
