Drow 4 set bonus for GWF must be changed.

9.5% deflect is ok but 5% speed debuff from encounter against classes that can pretty much perma dodge nowdays is useless.

my proposed change to the 5%speed debuff would be:

1.Incrase movement speed by 15%- so we can keep up with perma dodging classes.

2.30% more unstoppable gain from damage taken - would incrase our low survaviblity.

3.When using unstoppable you heal urself for 20% of ur total hp over 10 seconds does not stack- would also incrase our poor survaviblity.

    While I'd like the debuff changed, your suggestions (except for the 1st) are way out of scope. The debuff is a secondary bonus, not the primary. The deflect is awesome on it's own.

    I'd suggest changing speed debuff to speed buff. 5% movement speed per encounter use, stacks up to 3 times. That would be a neat.

    well 20% hp with HD is 10% in pvp.
    the other thing is 5% speed buff per GWF encounter wont really work due to our high CDs,flat 15% speed incrase would be better.

    No-one forces you to use the slowest encounters :) For example, it's not uncommon for destroyer GWFs to have 6-7s cooldown on takedown/roar. Or you can use punishing charge 3 times in a row.

    Also, T1 pvp set has 5~10% heal on unstoppable. Do you really expect to have 10~20% heal AND 9.5% deflect on T3? That's overkill!

    I'm full aware of the situation GWF is in but if we keep suggesting OP features, no-one will take us seriously.

    well might be overkill since we get overload slots however not everybody plays destroyer(i play instigator) and not everbody uses encounters you proposed so the 15% speed would be good on all builds w,o need to use only one skill setup to make an use of it:)

    if we doesnt fight for the changes and improvements ofcourse nobody ill choose to play gwf for anything not just pvp.

    Id rather Split the difference on the run speed and just say:

    "9.5% deflect and 10% speed debuff from encounter that does NOT stack. Lasts 10 seconds"

    This way a GWF who gets locked on a target to DPS, with sprint and this slow, have a much easier time staying in melee range.


    Honestly GWFs need more "slows" and "daze" and less "stuns/prones". Id rather have takedown DAZE someone or SEVERELY SLOW them for like 5 seconds than a 1-2 second prone.

    Or even "Not so Fast" applying a 35%+ Movement debuff, almost like "Courage Breaker" for TRs.


    GWF and GF too should be the master of "slows" to keep targets in melee range. Not everything has to be a full "stun". If the slow is enough, even if they dodge/blink away itll be enough to re-close the gap again. Or use gap closers like Threat Rush, or "come and get it" etc.

    problem is every class nowdays with 20% stamina regen can pretty much perma dodge so i dont really find use of speed debuff

    also in any game i ve played i never seen a fighter class being so dam weak but this thread is about the set not GWF himself.

    Yep pvp-ing with a gwf in NWO is only for the Sacher-Masoch type of players. The late Deep gash, the Domination exploit, the alleged Sprint are not right DnD-wise and never solved gwf's condition even as a temporary substitute for an actual rework.
