Dragon Encounter Reward says Rare Item but nothing dropped

I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug. When I do the dragon fight, I have never ever gotten anything except coins and dragon enchantments. I noticed today that it says my reward contained an item of rare (blue) but there wasn't anything blue in the reward. Just coins and enchantments. Anyone know if this a bug?

Ok, right after I posted this I did the WoD dragon farm and got an epic and a rare. I've never gotten anything except enchantments and coins (except WoD which gives scroll) and I post cause I think it's a bug and all of a sudden I get an epic??

I still think this is a bug. It shouldn't say rare when there are no rare items in the list.

    sadly, even if you get Epic or Rare reward tier, it does not guarantee that you will receive an item.

    I cannot count the number of times I have seen Epic or Rare and only gotten tokens and consumable.
