How can we know how to judge in-game distances? like if something says 10', 30', 50' etc. how can we determine how far this is in game?

Any help is appreciated.

You can see the skill light up on the bar when it's in range. You can do this with a skill of known range, as a check.

This helps with skill/encounters, but not with gear set bonuses.

Actually it helps with everything. You're not going to get a way to calculate the distance except with using skill/encounters. Test with encoutners and get a mental image of how far away you are. if your encounter is 80' . then walk towards a target until your encounter lights up. that distance is 80'. CW's have a dodge that tells you in game how far the teleport is. If you are a CW. learn your dodge length then u can teleport to where you need to know and add them up. Its mostly a guessing game to get proper ranges. that is all.

I wish there was, I would be able to kite certain classes or try it in pvp if i knew the distance we are apart, however I would also imagine this would create alot of server lag or something like that. (i'm not a techy, so troll techy correct me go go).
