Help for someone who is not up to date

Hi everyone.

After a long time I wanted to make a new character and I noticed that there is a new class "coming soon".
Has there been any info what this class is (the icon looks pretty martial to me) and when it will come out (or failing that, how long the class has been "coming soon")?
Or is this just a placeholder for "eventually there will be more classes"?

There is a new class coming but nobody is 100% sure what it is yet or how soon , most people think that it could be Druid , the icon in the coming soon spot is just a generic Neverwinter icon.

It's a placeholder, but without "eventually", someone from the devs stated somewhere (sorry, can't find the post) that Cryptic plans to always have at least 1 class "in the works" and another "in design" in background.

Of course, as long as there are enough classes in D&D :P

They also hinted that they would like the next to be the Druid, but it isn't necessarily what they are working on. The most required classes (by the player base) are Druid and Paladin.

Also, the latest module just released, several months will pass before we see the next one. Based on past release dates, I guesstimate early spring as release date for the next module (and, hopefully new class), somewhere around late March or first half of April.

Truth is, no-one really knows when or what but one day we should have a new class. And on that day there will probably be a new place-holder for the class after that, also saying "coming soon".

So don't hold your breath!

As far as I remember there has always been that coming soon icon.

probably sometime next year.
