In-game voice chat not working on multiple systems

So my brother and I both play Neverwinter over the same connection. (wired to router) The in-game voice chat works fine but only if one of us is using it. When we both use it it gets very glitchy and we either don't hear anybody (and can't use chat) or it plays on my pc, then cuts out and the rest plays on his pc. We are usually teamed together with our other brother and some friends, but it sucks that we can't both converse at the same time unless we use something like ventrilo, which is just another thing that has to be running. Anybody know if there is a fix in the settings, or if it's just something we have to deal with? As usual the devs have not responded to my tickets (for over 2 months) so I hoped somebody here could help out. Thanks in advance!
