Is TR viable now for PVE?

Has TR competitive damage now for PVE?(Not PVP!)
Against SW/CW/HR or GWF dmg? In LOL/CN?

Worth to deal with my old TR?

I heard blitz is pretty good against mobs.

    Currently trying out and enjoying scoundrel quite a bit with all the mass dazing. Gain the capstone buff, smack 7 guys with blitz to daze them, enter stealth, daze a blob with dazing strike, then use smoke bomb for more dazing.

    Many are saying Executioner's capstone is broken which results higher dps during boss fights (pretty much how SW's dps shoots up with Tyrannical Threat during boss fights). I haven't respec mine on live, but I have tested previously on preview my executioneer.

    Ignoring Executioneer's capstone, TRs come with higher deflect through Dex and has an extra dodge roll now which does a lot for survivability (I'm built for 4 dodge rolls and can dodge non stop in combat), on preview I've tried soloing major HEs in IWD with relative ease (multiple mobs). They are now good feats that give better damage increases and staying alive in combat outside of stealth equates to an overall dps increase as well. As an executioneer build, stealth is purely a damage booster. I favored Blitz before mod5, but have since turned to Path of the Blade on my new test build.

    I would still say I could clear a major HE faster as a CW but I'm waiting to see any official statement on Shadow of Demise before I test again, and see if single target dps can compete with Tyrannical Threat if there's any changes.

    Wait, the capstone is working with Blitz for you? It's only working on single-target powers for me. Are you sure that Blitz isn't just criting, and that's what's causing the daze?

    Shadow Of Demise seema broken and stacks up which multiply your damage.
    The result is that i can generate 30 to 60 stacks and nearly killed lostmauth in an instant and killed thw spider in 10 to 15 seconds qit my teammates.

    Shadow of Demise is broken and is not supposed to stack. Otherwise, I haven't tried Blitz but Path of the Blade works much better. TR FINALLY has viable AoE that isn't overpowered and can still demolish single targets.

    smokebomb with executioner build is pretty **** funny in PVE, run into bunch of mobs in stealth, drop a smoke bomb, hit shadow strike, back into stealth and lashing a big health mob, dodge roll x3 out of there and sit back and laugh when the SoD melts them all into corpses then go pick up yer loot.

    Smokebomb damage are suprisingly good (plus daze, who doesn't like aoe damage + daze??) on both pvp and pve.

    @koizi001: I think so, current TR (all path) has their pros & cons but all of them deal noticeable damage thx to buffed aoe skill.

    Simply put it like this
    Sabo: Stupid ammount of piercing damage
    Scoundrel: 24/7 daze
    Exe: Large chunk of burst damage like always

    The tiamat raid is a big zergfest so the answer is it doesn't matter. Just go in and have fun and do stuff.

    It will, I have a 16.5k TR and I am out damaging 19k and 20k CW's. Only the top end Fury locks are putting out more than I am at the moment and that was to be expected. Oh and I'm not running an executioner either. It is possible.

    Gloom level 60 Control Wizard
    Dusk level 60 Trickster Rogue
    Dawn level 60 Devoted Cleric
    Eclipse level 60 Hunter Ranger
    Wrath level 60 Great Weapon Fighter

    I don't find that believable, explain what it is getting this done for you? I have been trying things out over and over in preview trying to find something good for pve... just running on HEs with lvl 62 mobs the timer is going to run out before getting a clear. Yea you can kill things but it is like a mosquito. lvl 65 groups of mobs will be a lost cause.

    I have had good results on my TR. I have out damaged better geared CW/SW/GWF but have also been out damaged by lesser geared CW/SW and DC (yes rank 5 geared dc). This is a scoundrel path TR at that and I do notice a slight bit more survivability but much of it comes from the extra dodge and faster daze I believe.
