This game is showing more bugs the more you expand it.
Professions: When in the game, you now have to wait to be able to claim the professions. It used to be you could just click on the buttons and clear out the finished tasks.
Rubber banding Still has not been cleared up in a lot of instances espeically in skirmishes
Dragons are lagging quite badly. They did not in the beginning but are now.
Gateway: When you enter Sword Coast Adventures for the first time on a character, it may or may not show the die.
Respen's Adventures: The adventure was having this exact same bug last year and it was never fixed and now you are running the adventure again and it is just as buggy, if not more, as it was last year. Why was this released with the bugs. I cannot even get into the adventure to play it. 1 out of 20 times over 2 days is nuts!
I do hope that when you release Tiamat's Rising, you have fully tested ALL areas of the game. I know there will be a few bugs that need to be worked out, but I do hope that this release does not bring down all parts of the game like the Dragon adventure did when it was released.

As stated, this is (allegedly) an intentional affect. The work-around is to log-into the Gateway and select your character (you don't even need to go to any sheet - just selecting the character will do) - and the completed professions will all "ready" themselves instantly.
Before you proclaim "that's an unnecessary extra step" - I mention it because you already mention the Gateway below. So just go roll your d20 before claiming your professions. Problem solved.

Rubber-banding can be LAG, or it can me your computer struggling to keep-up. In the case of Skirmishes it is more likely your computer is choking by trying to keep-up with everything going on. Try changing instances to one with fewer other players - it will help a lot. As for LAG - it is more likely your Internet connection is creating high ping-rates.
Whenever the Cryptic servers are at fault it's usually a functional issue (such as queues not working correctly or something) - rarely a rubber-banding issue, unless the servers are overwhelmed (such as immediately and for a few hours after a giant patch, like what we will see on Tuesday when Rise of Tiamat is released).

This is a web issue and how your browser is communicating with the web site. Though I've seen this happen myself, it's very rare. When it does happen it's usually the result of a mish-mashed cache file.
Solutions: flush your cache. Delete old cookies. Try a different browser.

This is moot as a hot-fix has already been applied. Either way you're just reiterating what others have been reporting for a few days now. Do you mention it just to make your list seem longer and more impressive? //justasking.

The Devs do what testing they can. However, YOU are the one who should be testing. The Rise of Tiamat has been on the Preview test server for weeks now. have YOU not done any testing? When there are issues found (and there will be) - do not complain. If you have not partaken in testing then you relinquish all control and expectations of what will come.
So when the issues arise the wise will just sit patiently while they are fixed. The anguished angst-filled emotional types will shout in shrill voices. Which will you be? //justasking.

I defer to my comment immediately above.
