Balance: At this point in the game, balance is not obtained through class, but rather through gear score.
My proposal: There should be two separate PvP Domination queues.
1. The first queue will be similar to the old system. There will be no ELO ranking or penalty for leaving. This will be just for fun, and for (but not limited to) low GS PvPers and/or PvEers. These two groups might have a reason to enjoy PvP.
2. The second queue will be the current queue system. This WILL affect ELO rankings and, of course, have a 30 minute penalty for leaving. This queue will be for (but not limited to) higher GS PvPers and ones who want to rise in leaderboard ranking.
Will this stop pre-mades from PUG stomping?
No. However, the true colors of top PvP guilds will be seen.
Which queue(s) will affect the PvP campaign?
Both will.
What about glory?
Glory from the first queue will be 3/4 of that from the second queue.

Edit: The title is supposed to be "(Partial) PvP Balance Fix." May a moderator change it, please?
To not let premades go against randoms. If people insist on running premades, they should have to wait until another premade is queued up, instead of getting paired up against a team of 10k gs gamers. Or get rid of team queueing entirely, which would only affect 1% of the PvP "community" anyway.
This system would allow pre-mades (PMs) to fight other PMs. On the other hand, if a non-PM player WAS fighting a PM, that player could leave without a penalty.
However, your suggestion would not ge fair to PMs wanting to fight other PMs.
You guys want pvp fixed its good and all, but do take note that PVP community is ridiculously small in numbers and its dwindling due to GS problem and others glyphs etc.., some suggestions are good but it'll never be accepted by all players.
Its absurd how my 2 toons with different GS/ranking (TR below p10, cw p100+) in leaderboard can encounter the same PM or PUG. This shows the scarcity of pvp players and I even played in 2 different time zones, whats more ridiculous: I can almost remember their names in mind since I played/against them almost everyday.

If this new system was introduced, many people would want to try it out just out of curiosity. Many will keep on queueing because they are having fun playing BALANCED matches.
The system should be able to distinguish between solo queue or team queue. We should be warned beforehand by having the pop up indicate how many of the opposing team were team queued, ex (2,2,1), (2,1,1,1), (3,2) or all solo queued (1,1,1,1,1). So we will able to decide whether not to take up the queue. Also display the average GS for each team on the pop-up beforehand as well.
If enchants start to be counted in gs, we could easily ask for a gear score based matchmaking.
The most fair we can ask. Or at least 50000x more fair than the actual system
Only solutions: GS based matches, better surveillance from Admins on matches (no more wall climbing TR, through wall shooting SWs and the tons of under 2k bots), no premade vs PUG and no leader board for PUG matches (most only come for the daily AD and do nothing, just run around like chickens without a head or just warm themselves at campfire and dance, arghhh).
BTW since two weeks PVP is even worse, than it was, out of 20 matches i saw the same bot twice in a row and nearly all matches had a bot, useless to build a leader board on this. As my premade PVPer friend says, the only way to get a win for sure under your belt now, is to become a premade too.

The human race is a herd. Here we are, unique, eternal aspects of consciousness with an infinity of potential, and we have allowed ourselves to become an unthinking, unquestioning blob of conformity and uniformity. A herd. Once we concede to the herd mentality, we can be controlled and directed by a tiny few. And we are.

They are promoting imbalance so that you freak out and put money in the game to become one of those orange 20k who dont have this problems
Exactly, that why they do nothing to bring balance or a bit of healthy Admin surveillance into the matches.
Players pain brings money in short duration true, but in long term it will destroy the remaining PVP players base. And if we PUGs disappear from PVP, the premades will also, cause the most fun for them is to roll over us, like a Caterpillar in their orange gear and over 20K+ GS.

I don't think they want to make fair matches I think they want people to spend more to upgrade, so they let it go on as it is but I feel it will die as new people who join pvp must feel terrible as they just get slaughtered and as a game experience its getting so bad the gap in GS is now huge like level 5 vs a 30. I used to enjoy pvp but now you get the huge GS gap and exploiters and its not that much fun any more unless you get an even match that is neck and neck the whole way, but alas they are rare now I find its slaughter of get slaughtered most of the time. I can't see them having some one watch matches will ever happen.
This morning before the update, I was in a pug where none of us had more than 17k GS facing a group with 4 pre-made (same pvp guild and chatted with one who confirmed what I was seeing) and 1 add on. The guild group had 21K+ GS with 5 legendaries and whose build were all pvp-based (in fact, the person I was chatting with stated you are either pve or pvp -- no hybrid thought process). We lost terribly.
While I mainly pve, I do enjoy pvp. Yet, the team with the most legendaries (especially artifact weapons where they can double up on the often rank 9 / rank 10 enchantments) wins. So people of equal skill cannot compete if they don't have near equal GS.
From my perspective, 1) fix the current system to take into account GS and if the GS difference is >= 3k it is not a match; and/or 2) put anyone with x legendaries (especially artifact weapons) into their own queue / match.
What about glory?
Glory from the first queue will be 3/4 of that from the second queue.
Love Child, you got it wrong.
The Glory for the first queue should be 125% of the glory for the second queue.
Only an egoist would make it otherwise.
You want more players to be competitive? give low GS players Glory to buy gear.
You want only good players with good gear in your "second" queue? Make it less attractive to go for the second queue.
YES. If you have more than 10 matches in the second queue you can never ever go back to the first queue except if you use a full respec token. (A man can dream, can't he?)
Imaginary Friends are the best friends you can have!
I don't think any of these suggestions will work as long as fully geared premades are pitched against solo queuers. Creating two or more queues, with one designated for only solo queuers regardless of their ranking/gs with no kick may be the one that can still restore some fun and dignity to the pvp aspect of this game.
The current system is extremely obvious designed to help highly geared guilds and a few groups of people to satisfy their epeens by repeatedly avoiding premade-premade or people with similiar gs and/or to them.... and if they really lose, they kick a couple of teammates to avoid the loss. What a joke of pvp system in all online games.
