uw0tm8, got my Black Ice gloves at the first try.

So I literally haven't done a single Heroic Encounter since Ice Wind dale released (I'm dead serious), never cared about them, not even a single bit.

I've always used Draconic gloves or other gloves (Before draconic released).

I decide to try to farm Black Ice gloves for the first time since the last module, I get it the first try.

How's this even possible???

    All my friends (and me) got their gloves and MH within 1-5 tries.

    Got gloves on both my main characters within a a few days without actively farming, just joining Epic HEs I saw when doing dailies.
    Le-Shan: HR level 80 (main)
    Born of Black Wind: SW Level 80

    I've gotten 7+ pairs of BI gloves without farming for them, fairly quickly. My SW got hers just doing the 1 HE for the daily. On her 2nd day in IWD.

    nice to hear they exist. i started IWD from first day. right now i have third big break from this area. third time i got totally bored my poor Gf cant drop them, do everything whenever possible or impossible

    Guys, those who have obtained their gloves from IWP, can you confirm if all of you only obtained the gloves when you got "great success"? I have soloed two major Heroic encounters besides getting great success in 2-3 other HEs and still no gloves, but I have completed so many more major/epic HEs at the basic level but didn't get the gloves so far.

    No. Got gloves from 'not great success' too. No idea if 'great success' makes for a better chance though. Seems like it should, but idk.

    I would love to see a chart listing the gloves/bracers drop in IWD based on class. I'd think the CWs would top the list while GF/DC would be at the bottom.

    For me - 5 classes in IWD (hundreds of epic HEs by now) but only my SW got his on second day, first HE (Remo).

    Gratz to those that have gotten theirs; I don't begrudge you. I do begrudge the RNG ;)

    It is probably cus IWD is deserted at this moment, most players have already got their gloves, from either HE or ZEN. Now you can do a Epic HE and its 4-5 ppl there and not 70. Less ppl = bigger chance to get BI gloves.

    Yeah, same. DC, two CWs, gwf in IWD and DV. Tons of HEs, never got anything. I guess all the ones who get something come right to the forums to brag, while the mass of people getting nothing remain silent in frustration, and thus by reading the forums you get the deceptive feeling that the drop rate is fair.
