Leveling

I don't know about anyone else but doing the same missions over and over again when levelling a different character can become a bit boring, don't get me wrong I love never winter but I'd like to see maybe different missions to level with so its not the same old thing every time you level a char, be it missions designed for the character type or missions that have choices for you to make and this sets your path along various routes. Oh and I mean a different scene set, not missions thrown into an all ready existing simulation I know its a lot of work but I believe it would make the game more appealing.

Well, i do partially agree with you. But do not forget, that you can level characters in different ways, like PvP, foundrys or even just by invoking and crafting.
Also you basically did the same missions over and over again with your first character already. Most of the quests just change the creatures you kill. If i look at what kind of content Cryptic usually creates, you can just expect to get the same quests with different monsters again, if they would listen to you.

Just in case you are not aware of:
    • Boosts XP [Mini Experience Booster] 300Zen
    • Boosts XP [Experience Booster] 750Zen
    • Boosts XP [Huge Experience Booster] 5,000Zen
Imaginary Friends are the best friends you can have!

[*]Boosts XP [Huge Experience Booster] 5,000Zen
    [/LIST]

If I recall correctly: this one is 0 to 60 in a half-second.
But for leveling alts I recommend Foundry, then other things like skirmish farming to make AD, etc. Nothing says you have to level through the official quest line.

Btw, speaking of Foundry and a little offtopic: The foundryachievements are accountwide, yes. But does the progress cumulate accountwide or character only?

The experience boosts double the rate at which you gain experience, up to the amount. The Huge Experience Booster is enough to give you double EXP up to level 60.

They're account wide. Though some are broken such as doing a foundry several days in a row. They even promoted the foundry rewards with it broken. Not sure why it's hard to fix a simple counter. You could argue they gave up, but why bother promoting the rewards, some of which being pretty much impossible to get.

With my latest alt, I leveled her through questing up to 30 (to make sure she got the two bags). After that, she has only been getting xp from invoking, Leadership, and the ToD campaign.

Sub-60 you can only do the first 3 dragons and no lair, so the campaign goes quickly. I'm hoping she'll have a nice stockpile of cult secrets when she hits 60. :P

Thanks for clarification. I'm not in so much of a hurry as to actually BUY that thing! :)

I wish there would be more class specific quest during the main campaign, quests that forces to use a specific skill.

DC heal a sick child using healing word.
GF protect/shield a high priest while performing exorcism.
GWF train some militia showing them to use Sure Strike on dummies.
CW Put fire out at a library using ray of frost.
HR Bring down kids' kite from a tree, using aim shot.
TR Gather intel by eavesdroping on conv. using stealth
SW Help local theater troup with Soul puppet.

But get a quest of that sort every time you level up.

having levelled 11 toons to 60, and another one in the works and an open slot I haven't decided what to use for yet... I agree it's a little boring. If there were random elements to the storyline quests -- if not the quests themselves, at least the actual things you have to deal with while going from point A to point B, would make it much more interesting. Some quests would be less easy than others.... Maybe randomly, something class/race thing happens -- Tieflings are accosted by devils, or teleported to some devilish gauntlet to run... elves get yanked into the Fey, Fighters get random messages now and then offering them some go-hit-thing Mercenary contract (they can accept it or not), DCs get urgent "so-and-so has a spear in his colon, come pull it out! we'll pay you!" etc, etc. Not just ONE of these, but reoccurring and random (and not always the same one.... RANDOM so it stays interesting and is different every time).

Cryptic's game model doesn't do random very well. There are a few examples where they've included some random elements, but it's very rare. I REALLY wish adding features for random quest generation would become a priority.
