Right. It's nice, though, because it autotargets, allowing the HR to dodge as needed, and, correct me if I'm wrong, I think it tracks TRs into stealth, too.

^^^^ not bad in PVE either because it is going to attack every tick for the duration while you make other attacks. And it reduces defense so the last mobs to die (read the toughest) get more hits. All kinda adds up. Would be OP if it targeted multiples like StS.

Its fantastic for keeping prey up on a boss target. Add in the defense debuff and it is pretty amazing.

It does indeed tracks TRs in stealth although no damage sadly - that would be too OP :P

Thorn Ward is probably one of our best encounter all-round encounters since it was buffed in Mod 3. Prior to that it was woefully below-par. I reckon it also does way more damage than most of our other encounters since the ticks were ramped up. I always have it slotted on my Archer even in LoL and SoT despite the mobs moving around so much in there. I just wish the range was increased to personal instead of the pitiful 40 yards it currently is if IIRC.

Not to mention it's still nice for even Combat builds for DPS on both stances.
