Warlock PvE damage

Maybe people are talking about this, but I haven't really heard much about it. And when I bring it up to Warlocks they just say "WAI, we are a dps class"

The problem is this: even 13k SW's can be painkillers in a skirmish/dungeon run. Painkiller, with 13k GS and 17-22k teammates that are CW/HR.

I see this very often. Usually they are 13-16k and outdmg me (and everyone else) with millions. I am 21k combat HR and I do very good damage, comparable to, or better, than most CW's. Yet I see random SW's with no gear and mostly spamming their atwill laser beam, out damaging everyone.

I get that it's the new class and Cryptic wants to let them be OP so they gain something from the guys who rolled a SW.
But enough is enough.

Another example, and this one I have no clue about. But in ELoL final boss we had some random SW with us, and we actually brought the dragon down in SECONDS. Ofc we kicked the broken Warlock out, but cmon ..

Once I got outdmg by 3 million in ESoT by a 12-13k SW with 1 artifact and no weapon enchant! :DD

20k CW is bad if you he can't overdps 13k warlock.

Also, we all understand HR was a new class and there are very many players that rolled it for pvp but enough is enough Like this way of talk huh?

You are not bad. HR is a dps class also.
It shouldn't be that big difference between dps classes...

By the way, just in case you are even remotely serious... Dreadtheft. Encounter not At-Will. Their best one. Even better when combined with Warlock's Bargain. They are out damaging you because they are using their strongest powers.

Nah, they are outdamaging froszzt because he runs a PvP HR Combat build that is mostly invested in self-healing and tankiness, not PvE DPS lol. He should still do dang good single target DPS anyway lol.

froszzt, spec Archery PvE for a few runs. if you still get outDPSed by lower GS SWs, then we have an issue. From what I know about SWs, there's a big chance they might still perform better...

But for now, PvP build getting outDPSed by PvE build seems WAI to me.

I didn't feel that I had to check the real name of the thing they spam, because that was not the point.

And I thought it was an at-will since they spam it 24/7.

How many times did I mention their gear/gs? It seems like none of you actually read what I wrote.

I have run with archery HR's BiS in PvE, usually they do a bit more damage than me, but I have outdmg good archery PvE HR's as well.

"PvP HR build" .. I have 2k+ arpen, 9k+ power and 2k+ crit in PvE. Sure I am immortal, but I deal good damage.

Again, you didn't see when I said SW with 13k gs and 1 artifact? Or killed dragon in ELoL in seconds?

I suggest you read my OP and edit your moronic comments.

And also, hit me up in game if you think I my dmg output should be beat by some newly made no boon, no gear scrub SW.

HR is damage class just as well as SW. So that is no argument, especially not when someone who made lvl 60 2 hours earlier outdmg someone who usually outdmg broken CW's.

Learn to read, and by the looks of things, learn how to play.

Oh, and don't talk about my build like you know anything about it, since you clearly don't.

What does people rolling HR for PvP have to do with Cryptic wanting money for a new class?

FYI, I made my HR when the class was new and I do PvE and PvP with it as main and only playable character atm.

Clearly you don't ever have pugs in your party in PvE, maybe you don't even play PvE. One thing is for sure, you have not seen what a broken SW can do yet. Still you act like you know it all. Not like I am trying to restore some balance here, lets just ignore that fact.

Go troll another thread, or practice playing the game, you need it.

I will never get why people epeen all over the place for "issues" like this. SW damage is slightly too high and gear independent and they made a first attempt in fixing Tyrannical. I run a 10k Power 20k GS CW with full legendaries and get outdamaged by SWs, but who cares really as long as the run is smooth?
This is indeed a balancing issue (and one that will be fixed eventually), but for PVE (**WE** vs the CPU) a very minor one.

I'd say SW is not the major issue here, the state of the PVE-HR in general is, because people are still choosing SWs (damage), CWs (damage/control/debuff) and GWFs (melee/damage) over Rangers in the DPS categories for obvious reasons. Only TRs are worse.
