my 18k gs dps gwf can get 1shot in eLoL an eSoT, if they keep the high damage spikes of mod4 getting oneshot is not that hard, especially by crit that can hit for 60k+
golems round aoe hits for some 30k(without unstoppable/sprint), eSoT boss hits for a bit less and so on

My worry is that if you get one shot now that 10% wont help one bit, you will still get one shot.
And does anyone actually now the % of crit chance and severity on normal mobs, big mobs and bosses?

Well if auras stack and everybody is running a set it may reduce the damage of some monsters to more manageable levels. But we don't know if auras stack I guess.

PvE mobs have 0 defense, so the defense debuff calculation is different for mobs than for players. In PvE a 5% defense debuff is 1% more damage to you and everyone else hitting the debuffed mob.
I don't have the link but anyone thinking otherwise can search the forums for the debate about GPF where devs confirmed this.

I still have trouble believing some classes will share combinations of set bonuses while other classes will have unique combinations of set bonuses. Still no hint from devs that those boni are place holders?

I hope not. Seems like nobody also saw the whole sets yet. Like commented in other thread 3 weeks still. I hope they will rebalance sets and make unique auras for each class.

Are these set bonuses set in stone? I know we're less than a week out, but they seemed pretty lackluster...the stats aren't bad, but it's just hard to see the general 4-piece set bonuses as all that useful.

The two-set bonus isn't great either. I've been hoping it was a place holder as the last 2/4 bonus was +150 AP also and the new Drow PVP armor has 2/4 bonus of +625 (up from T2 +450). I guess we'll find out soon enough.

also on page 2 i posted a table comparing the stats of gwf set with AoW, there are so much more stats that i think it would be worth it for DC

But i think the 4 set bonus is realy good .
