Did they ever fix the respec bug for the foundry Author character?

I'd like to try some of my quests on other character types, but I don't want to end up with an author character with no powers. Can anyone testify as to the Respec working or not lately?

    I thought they'd fixed it but it might have been temporary.
    I believe it is still bugged - and have it in my buglist.

    If someone tests it let me know if it is still bugged.

    It's definitely still bugged, once you choose a paragon path with your author character, you cannot correctly respec to any other class. You are stuck with that class and paragon path. Many authors haven't a clue which class they first chose a paragon path with, so they appear to be stuck with a useless test character.

    I haven't tried using the in-game respec while in 3D preview to remove the paragon path, and then respec through the foundry interface.

    It's still whacked... I did a "respec" from a level 31 Wizard to a level 21 Guardian - I couldn't even spend the power points. So I have to test everything on one encounter power and default at-wills.

    Needless to say, I wasn't all that happy about it.

    I've opted to just level a GF from level 1 :)

    But it's once you hit a paragon path? So if you haven't ever gotten an author character to that point, then you can still switch classes freely?

    Once you CHOOSE a paragon path, that class and paragon path are the ones you are stuck with. You can reach that point and choose not to select a paragon path, but then you can't fully level an author character beyond 31.

    I'm sure they'll fix it soon. After all, it's only been broken for a year and a half.

    yep, it's still bugged for me too.
    I have to test play most of my stuff with 1 daily, 1 at will, and 1 encounter.

    But, your cool enough to do this, the encounters just laugh at my DC :P
