Really enjoyed this last event.

Hello, I just wanted to let the event people know that I really enjoyed this last event. I had actually started skipping most events because they just start becoming mind numblingy boring after a while but this last one wasn't bad. I really hate those events where it's one skirmish and you do it over and over and that's just in the hopes that you'll get lucky and get the one good drop whether it's a mount, companion, item, etc. But this one I was able to get into and do it a little bit each day on all my characters and for the most part get everything I wanted without having to do it all day, every day.

Gah, I forgot which event it was but I did it for every day it was available on my CW and never got the pet, it was the one with that intellect devourer. Normally it takes me around 30 matches for me to get the drop but I never once got it and that was just on my one character so after that I'd pretty much stopped doing them. And then of course there was the one with the doohickey's which I did not like a whole lot but still, whether I enjoy them or not I always appreciate all the hard work that goes into them.

So I ended up with 5 whole boxes and waited a few days to open them. I was trying to decide if I wanted to just sell them for a million ad which is normally what I do since I have such bad luck with RNG but I decided to just have fun and open them and ended up getting that purple medic companion on my second box I never get anything like that and all the other stuff in the rest of the boxes was pretty good too. All in all I really enjoyed the amount of time spent vs. the rewards on the event.

On a weird note for some reason when my cw has that medic companion out all of the dragons seem to really be one shotting me. I don't know if they were just critting or if I was just super unlucky or what but in one day using that companion I died more on the dragons then I have in the total time combined that I've been doing the dragons which is hundreds and hundreds of times. It was so weird. Do companions make mobs agro more or something? Even that weaker dragon in Icespire killed me. He killed me with one hit of his tail and my soul whatever enchant kicked in and I drank a potion and didn't even get one shot off when his tail hit me again and killed me for a second time. I died two more times in that fight. Every dragon killed me at least twice where I had to rez at the fire which was very unusual for me. Other than their fire breath I can normally withstand pretty much anything else they dish at me. Anyway, sorry for getting off topic it was just so weird and I wanted to know if anyone else had a similar experience using that companion or other purple companions. Or did they just jack the dragons damage up on the last day or so?
