Providing a forum link for the response to Akro ~
rough base of general ideas and how they can be carried out in the future of neverwinter.
Game Types
Capture the flag: COMPANION BONUSES DO NOT WORK HERE
Teams of 5-10 Depending on map size
2 Bases either end of the map
both contain flags which can be carried by one player
the flag has to be carried and placed into your base
using the F to interact to place it with a 3-5second timer.
Game ends after 20minutes or 10 flag captures - The flag carrier - the player cannot stealth
player is located on minimap by way point & Sparkly path
cannot exceed a certain reduced movement speed
recieves a increased resistance to damage that does not stack with current DR
cannot attack or heal doing so will drop the flag at the current location
Team Death Match: COMPANION BONUSES DO NOT WORK HERE
Team possibility sizes - 2v2 / 3v3 / 5v5 / 10v10
Self explanatory game type, Kills and Deaths result in change in score
Score of game ending is 1000 , each Kill is worth 10 points
Ranked PVP and Unranked: COMPANION BONUSES DO NOT WORK HERE
This well help provides a less stressful place for players
as well as a more competetive enviroment for those that crave that
More Q types: COMPANION BONUSES DO NOT WORK HERE
1v1 - with Team deathmatch rules
2v2 - random game type of either team deathmatch or 2 flag domination or capture the flag on small map
3v3 - ranked and unranked with multiple game modes
I'm curious to hear what else you think could be added and how it can be done (:
I am all for Ranked and Unranked give those players a non stressful daily environment which I think is needed instead of the mish mash going on now with people trying to do competitive and those who are there only for their daily ad.
For instance a 4 man group trying to queue up for a serious match and getting someone who is a new lvl 60 just trying to get his daily done for some RADs. Which is not pleasant for both parties.
Replace both home nodes with a giant Statue/Stone/Idol/Chicken. Teams have to destroy/protect their respective Chicken-Idols.

I'd like to see some forms of indirect PvP - maybe 1 side goes to rally forces for an assault on a fort, and the other side goes to build up defenses. After a set period of time, the combined forces from each side attack or defend the fortress, (depending upon which side you were on), with the players acting more in a commanding role to their NPC forces - leading them in battle, choosing their targets, etc.

I would like a 1v1 arena where both players can inspect each other before starting the fight. It could have an option of best of 1 OR best out of three.
And just for the fun of it, they could add an audience. 250 AD a ticket?

Enforce rainbow parties in PvP ---- 10v10 PvP ----

I don't think 1v1 and 2v2 brings much value to this game.
