A Lot of Halfling Bots

I was just levelling a character in the Blacklake District when I noticed something odd. There were a bunch of Halflings of varying levels, all with nice RPG names like 'Drew Stoutfoot' or similar all standing together with companions. At first I thought it was a cool RP guild but later on when I came back tot hem I realised that it's a bunch of bots or AFK autoclickers.

The Haflings are positioned near the first spawn point in Blacklake and every time the spawn pops up the Haflings' companions eventually kill off the spawned monsters. Well that could happen if the group was AFK for a few minutes so not such a big deal.

Except that these Haflings, in an effort to look like they are logging off, are constantly exiting and re-entering the game, which means that they change instances.

Feeling suspicious I changed instances too to see what was going on only to find the same characters (and there's at least twenty of the little devils) popping in and out of various instances, always in the same spot, always with companions.

Could there be any other explanation other than that they are bots?
I used to have an Orion slave girl, then PWE 'perfected' her, now all I have is this lousy signature

    Farming enchants with bots, I would guess.
    Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.

    They're not as good as they think they are at logging out. I managed to friend request a whole bunch of them. Looks like I'll have to report them one at a time...

    Interestingly they were mostly TRs with Cleric companions.

    What it does show is that there's some big flaws in the game design if this sort of cheating is so easy, so blatant, and so difficult to report. Grrrr.

    Community is waiting for a statement by the staff. Preferably not the usual "We're aware. No ETA".

    The problem are not those bots. The problem are bots farming gold and enchantments in sharandar (near the arcane reservor entrance).
    The bots farming enchants are destroying economy, the pleasure of playing and the pleasure of trading :(

    I'm truly sorry that people don't like to hear that "we're not supposed to discuss this". Bottom line though is that discussion of misbehavior ingame is not allowed on our forums, per Rules of Conduct. They aren't there for decoration.
