Charisma - Companion Stats Bonus

So Ive been wondering how does it work,this bonus? Can anyone explain it maybe?
If Im using Ioun Stone/Cat/Black Ice Ioun Stone etc and put more points into CHA: will those bonus % from CHA give me more stats from those companions even tho they already give 100% of their stats + with Eldritch Runestone its for example +9% already? And CHA also adds more bonus from Active Companions too?

Im thinking about rerolling my character and putting more points into CHA but dont want to do that before I know how it works..this bonus.

Would appreciate some help :)

    If I remember the dev response (by graalx if memory serves) back then, the Stat bonus only applies to active companions that are not augments. And those companion's stats (including from runes and equipment) would be increased.

    My feeling is that CHA and companion influence stat (Emblem of seldarine) only works with companion BASE stats, so is a little buff near unnoticeable. The difference with eldritch runestone is that it works with the FINAL stats (with items, enchants, and other runestones) so it gives a big bonus.

    Thats why Emblem of seldarine is a Big fail (only giving 14-20 stats depending on companion) and it should give stats considering all items and runestones.
