Please make us civilised beings

This has been a travesty, and Cryptic should have taken note a long time ago. I am sure Cryptic wants to keep us down, let us stay in the muck and the filth...they want us to stay Uncivilized Barbarians. Yes...what I am talking about is..

...the sit on chair emote.

Why have we not been given this emote? There are chairs and couches everywhere, but not one civilized player who can sit properly in it.

I know that Cryptic somehow had issues adding additional emotes, at least this was the case in Champions Online....it is possible Neverwinter has such as well. But there are a few replacements that can be made.

The emote Cheer and Cheer (Proudly) share the same animation. They're redundant, and it could be replaced if they indeed have trouble with limited emotes.
The same thing exist with emote Bye and Wave. They too share the same animation, and it could be replaced to make precedence to a new one.

Please Cryptic, bring us out of the uncivilized age.

BECAUSE with the ridiculously oversized TYCO style weapons and body shapes and humorously overstuffed very, very heavy-looking armor and gear if your character ever sits down it will require no less than six or seven Neverwinter Commoners to help you stand up again.

C'mon, put your thinking cap on and realize this already.

That is why we have a fashion button, a magic spell to put our oversized equipment into a seperate dimension where it waits till it is called again. C'mon, this is an oversight beneath you!

My guess is roleplayers dont spend enough money with them for there to be work on RP type stuff. Other stuff keeps the lights on and pays the bills, so it gets priority. Yes, I know that is a catch-22 for RPers.

That's what the throne of the lion is for or it can double as a portable toilet.

I like sitting on things, including chairs. I want a good sit emote. Why is it my tail goes through chairs? shouldn't it be tucked under me?

Hey, how 'bout doing something about Tiefling tails? Much as I'd love to sit in chairs, too, I dislike more that when I sit my tail is spinning around like a cat toy. It's also in need of a fix when riding, it goes down through the saddle and appears out the sides and back of the mount.

    +1

I hate how it penetrates cloaks too. Also the riding animation is even worse when you have the ghost horse.. it's like the tail is spazzing out.

If they coded it anyway decently, it would be a simple changing the reference to the animation, and changing the line's text. If it is not that simple, then what in blazes have they done to their code?

I can't help but agree with all of the above about having a good sitting Emote AND the helicopter Tiefling tails... And yes, yes I know people will always say, "Just use the throne..." But why would I use something so unbelievably gaudy when there is a perfectly good couch.

Now here's an idea that could be used as an alternative; Maybe an interaction function could be added to couches, chairs and benches, etc. that allow you to sit on them. My partner used to tell me of an MMO she used to play where they would have everyone from their guild gather in one place, tavern or something, and the meeting wouldn't begin until everyone was seated in their chairs. This game of course used the interact type function for the players to sit down in the seats that I just mentioned... Just food for thought~

We can't make any of the NPCs sit in Foundry either, without causing them to catch the plague.

I want to grab every tiefling tail I see when its waving around like that.

OT: I would love to be able to sit. If nothing else for screenshots. It would be awesome if I could take a screenshot with friends of us sitting on a couch together or something. People do that in real life all the time. I want to do that in neverwinter too.

Cryptic is being mocked by Bioware!

SWTOR unlocked Sleep and Chair emote by default for the players just recently. Clearly their business decisions are superior!

Every empty chair, bench or stool has been upgraded from a wasted asset, to a usable one! It's safe to say, hordes of roleplayers will flock to the game where one can sit, instead of dirtying their derrière on the floors. Might I add, that the foundry lacks civility as well. They cannot sit on the chairs either.

This is a clear agenda of barbarism by Cryptic! Not even the npc's are spared in the foundry.
