Yep, I checked, still bound, despite patch notes saying the opposite:

Feasts are no longer Bind on Pickup.

I hope a mod will move this to bug section.

Are the new ones you make unbound? Previously when they've unbound items that were bound such as gg gear that dropped they screwed players over who had them on the wrong character and only fixed the new drops.

Yup, mine are all still bound too. I too would love this to be rectified as promised. :)

All of my Feasts are still bound, as well as the watermelon sorbet, squash soup and ceprese (whatever that is).

These things are no use on that level 60 character, so if I do anymore collecting, I'll have to use a different one and level up their crafting for it.

If they can auto-stealth delete everyone's fire petals, why can't they replace bound items with unbound items?

    Beyond disappointed
I legitimately crafted Heros and Grand Summers Feats last Mid Summer Event with active characters and stored them in ONE bank to save on space until they were needed. With the onset of this year's Midsummer Event they all became Bound to Character

Patch notes for 8/28 clearly states that Feasts will no longer be bound.
Please correct the status Feasts crafted last Midsummer event to be NOT bound as well

And the release notes say that the feats are no longer bind on pickup. The ones that you had from last year will most likely stay with you through your character's neverwinter career.

The problem is that Last year, none of the Feasts were bound to anything
With the start of this year's event, with no advance warning, Last years' Feasts were made Bound to Character.

I submitted a Support Ticket and was encouraged to start a discussion thread in the forums , which I did.

After the 8/28 patch was enabled, I checked may bank again today and all last year's Feast are still Bound to Character AND Feasts created this year are also Bound to Character

Can they at least be made Bound to Account???

    Update:
The original discussion thread has been closed and a link posted to this thread in the Bug Report section

Well, I just made a costly mistake! I double checked the vendor and saw that the pig companion was BOE...so, hoping it to be a good investment to make a little AD, I used almost 200 Trade-bars to acquire enough Favors of Sune to purchase the pig companion. When it arrived in my inventory, it was bound to me! It's false advertising and I want my trade bars back!!

That is really bad. I'm sure Akromatik will sort this out when he has time. He sorted out the Bahamut belt which did not arrive as advertised quite quickly. So they CAN change the status, type and stats of an item already in inventory, Bank Slots and Guild Vault. Making the Pigs BoE should be a breeze.

Report it in the Bug thread, as Trade Bars are actually a real money item. You can only get them by opening boxes.

Also, send him a polite PM.

    Well, what do you know!

    From Wikipedia:

Caprese salad (Italian: Insalata Caprese, meaning "Salad of Capri") is a simple salad, made of sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil, seasoned with salt, and olive oil. It was made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag: red, white, and green. In Italy, it is usually served as an antipasto (starter), not a contorno (side dish) unlike most salads.

Never heard of it in my life before.

But why do they eat this in Faerun? Is it a traditional Elvish dish, or a Halfling concoction? I think it's a little strong for elvish tastes. But those Hobbits, they'll eat anything... as long as it's tasty.

All my crafted Feasts from last year AND those crafted this year from Aug 21 to the server shut down for the 8/28 patch are still bound to character. Now, the Feasts made this year cant even stack, wasting yet another inventory slot.

That was the whole point Last year of taking the Feasts crafted from four active characters and storing them in one bank until needed to free up valuable space.

BTW: The main discussion thread in General Discussions was closed

I got kicked off the server a little while ago and could not reconnect, so I disconnected and rebooted the PC and now the Server is off-line.

So I figure they may be trying to patch today's patch so it works properly. The message just says it is off-line and they are aware and trying to fix it. But hopefully, all the bound foodstuffs, companions and mounts will be unbound when we get back in.

Thanks for the info and advice! How would I go about sending him a PM? Just send to Akromatik? Thanks :)

Find a post from him and click his name and send a PM.

It's really not on to get a useless mount or companion that you have paid money for. Or even spent time getting petals or favours.

200 Trade Bars is a Colescent Ward and about 1/2 a million AD.

Trouble is, all my bound foodstuffs are STILL bound, but I made some Heroes' Feasts with another character and they are NOT bound. At least that is something.

But the bound ones should be unbound as well, especially mounts and companions.

They could even delete the bound stuff and send people an Unbound mount or companion in the mail, or e-mail you a code to redeem it at the Rewards Agent. There is no end of ways to put right glitches and bugs with this sort of thing.

And we know they can delete bound fire petals etc.

For the bound feasts, I found a workaround: Dragging a stack of bound feasts onto a stack of unbound will render the entire stack unbound. I tested this with both the Hero's Feast and the Grand Summer Feast.

Any New Feasts you craft are NOT Bound.

Unless you make them on a character that has Bound Feasts.

Then they stack in one pile and the whole lot are bound.

So if you have ANY bound items, put them in your personal bank vault.

Also, any food item items you buy with Fire Petals (Caprese, Watermelon Sorbet, Squash Soup) are bound

Other foods you buy for crafting with Fire Blossoms (tomatoes, squash etc) are NOT Bound.

This whole event has been glitched form the beginning.

I don't know about Mounts and Companions as I am really not bothering.

I log in early AM to do Professions with all my characters,
talk to the Priestess for the freebies.
mail them all to my new character.

Then a few of them (three, I think) gather Fire Blossoms and do the minimum events to get the minimum prizes.

Then I buy some bags of petals, thread and cloth and some of the crafting foods from the Flower Merchant and mail everything to my new character.

Create Unbound Feasts with that character.

I also crafted a Sunite Head Dress, Sunite Pants and I am waiting for Sunite Garb to come up.

My first character already has Sunite Pants she bought from the AH six months ago for 45,000 AD. She dyed it black with some dye that cost a ludicrous amount as well.

Maybe I'll get some AD back?

How? Did you drag them from inventory to your Bank Vault?

I'll test this with one of each. if it works, THANK you!

I put the bound stacks in my vault, crafted new ones, then dragged the bound stacks back into the new, unbound stacks.
