Racial favourite class

I have been thinking.., why isn't there a racial favourite class system in NW?
Certain races should excell in certain classes... for example tieflings and halflings could be better ragues
elves could be better rangers and wizards etc...
So why does this not exist in NW?

    It does to an extent, by virtue of the racial stat allocations. Some races are just going to cap out with better Class Primary and 1st Secondary stats than others.

    To take it any further then what we have now would be a horrible idea. It would all but kill racial diversity and player choice. Only favored race/class combos would be seen as worthy. Being an unfavored combo would be a reason to get kicked from a group or judged poorly.

    The game has enough elitism as it is, we dont need to add more. Let people play what they like with the race they like.

    I think this nails it. We need more reasons for people to judge others as 'bads' like we need another hole in the head.

    I'll be very upset if the game tells me that my race is rough and primate and my character will fail at being one of the best Wizards.

    The difference between the best and worst Races for a particular class is probably at least 5% effectiveness. Now think about how hard people grind in PvE, let alone PvP, for even a 1% advantage.

    So any more discrepancy would start to become a serious issue in PvE and as for PvP...
