Curious about how the PVP community plays these days

Solo queuer checking in.

    I usually due que, and sometimes trio but I rarely play with full pre-made. I find it fun playing with new people and adapting to strategies :)

    When I PvPed a lot, I tried to get full premade each time, even though it meant I would never go up the leaderboard like the guys that did duo-queue.

    That is because I cannot stand people that are unable to fill the responsibilities of their class when faced with good adversaries, i.e. I hate pug lottery. I want to play with people that I already know to be capable to win games.

    Solo or premade. Everything else results in pug-induced frustration.

    Solo or duo with a guildie. Anytime we queue up as a premade we get stomped.

    In the beginning solo was more fun because a lot of others would solo and get to play with different people and see how they utilize their class against others. Now in a guild, more fun now too to play with people who do know wha tthey're doing XD

    duo queue is the best failsafe. just get another person as good as me and it's a win barring any lopsided match against a 5man premade that's not half stupid

    Meh. Solo-queue is the ultimate equalizer if you really want a "fair fight".

    Your team, their team, everything random.
    Stop making excuses. Be a man.
    If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
    Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

    Scheduled premades only <3

    IMHO the most fair, thrilling and competitive fights you can get in the game because both teams arrange the setup/rules before the match starts.

    Also you always get the chance to learn something new - especially rotations, strategy and tactics to improve yourself and your team.

    Sadly the game is in a state - and I don't blame the community for this - where scheduled premades do not happen alot. Hopefully we will receive some changes sooner or later to get back to the ol' fun days (:

    But technically wouldn't a group of more than one person be a premade?

    Current char: Doppelgänger TR 12k+. 4th page last time I saw. SoloQ FTW. In my opinion isn't fair with new players when they face a premade, zero chance for them, and no fun for you since it's pretty easy.

    I don't PvP anymore, feels more like playing a game now.
    Used to solo queue though, not many aussie time zone guilds I like.

    Solo and then get all worked up because my entire team is getting trolled at home by a semi/perma-stealth. :(

    But then if I premade I can't handle it if I am grouped with ultra-competitive folks.

    Also, I am a decent player, but when I premade with friends we always get put up against players that come from pages 1 - 6, and it is a slaughter. My rank 7 GF is no match for the HR that was 5th on page 1. Actually, my entire team could not beat him.
    PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

    Solo queue as much as I can.

    Some times after matches the random pug people want to queue again so i end up duo or trio queueing but it is very rare.

    Solo queue all the time, it is the only true PvPer way.

    I solo for the most part. Every once in a while I'll duo, but when I queue I do it alone usually. #solofighter

    Both! I solo que during off times and when guild members are not on, when they are available we premade
