Every frikking AoE damage is taken by the companion. Even if it casted away from the companion, it's dumb AI directed him to go into it/stay in it and then dieing because of this ****.
It's okay if the companion try to give CA for you, but being stubborn running into every AoE/damage is a huge ****.
20 or more times I have now revived my companion because of this **** in a single dragon fight.
