Scornful Curse - what exactly does this mean?

Scornful Curse - Increases the damage dealt by Lesser curse and Deadly Curse by 10/20/30%

Does someone have an understanding of what this means? Does it buff the Curse feature on tab? If so, is it 20% + the 10/20/30% or done through some mathematical algorithm? aka not looking at a direct 50% buff total off of curse on tab.

That is understandable for Lesser Curse but is meaningless for Deadly Curse which does no direct damage, but causes Warlock's Curse to do an unspecified amount of damage.

(Haven't put any points in Deadly Curse, myself. Just curious, trying to learn the class.)

The feats only good if you heavy on lesser curses and actually use that class feature.

I run with deadly curse, but it's only about 1kish damage, if it doesn't crit. So in the end, it doesn't net much at all UNLESS it scales with power, the character and what not.

Did some quick logging with just applying deadly curse rotation for 2 min on dummies and the feat points IMO, for deadly curse at least are best used elsewhere.

With that in mind, does Deadly Curse scale with gear and enchants?

It scales with power and weapon damage. The power component seems tiny, but I haven't done excessive testing.

I imagine the case in which Scornful Curse affects Warlock's Curse is when the Deadly Curse class feature is selected -- otherwise the warlock's curse does no damage...

Oh, I enjoy deadly curse in PvE. It does a decent amount of damage, especially when you can just fling it around with the tab button and merry go round damage with no CD... if you wanted to. It's great for picking off almost dead targets also. It would be interesting to see how much damage is increased with a good set of gear and enchants.

Anyways, seems to be a good class feature for my Temptation, I don't or at least can't stack ArP yet so there isn't really a fantastic feature besides maybe the damage reduction one.

I also like the factor that it's good for pulling.. hand of blight is just so slow at ranged.

I tested Deadly Curse on preview and on live didn't even put points into. The damage was just too low and it is a one time tick, so what exactly makes it so good for you? Maybe I'm missing something.
And I read about the Harrowstorm -> Fiery Bolt combo before. What makes it so good? Or is this just preference?

Sounds like it'd be nice using harrowstorm - fire bolt - killing flames for a pretty nice and pretty fluid burst which would probably kill someone with 10k GS in the single combo. <_<

However I'm temptation so Shadow Walk is pretty much a must have to go with stamina regen on being hit.

Basically, Deadly Curse will deal damage to a target that isn't already tagged with Warlock's Curse. That means that if you can clear off Warlock's Curse with a curse consume, then you can reapply it afterwards for more damage. Fiery Bolt and Harrowstorm are pretty much the strongest curse consume encounters, which is why it'd be recommended.

I'm not a fan of this setup, though. It's also not that great on Fury SW.
