Okay so I'm gonna start this thread out with what's wrong with PVP then move it to what can be improved with PVP.
PVP Now: Lets start this out with "I've never seen such dumb **** in my life" Now lets dig deep in to this point. If we're playing a game of capture the flag then we should be playing a game of capture the flag. Not a game of Leave everyone's flag alone and try not to be killed in 3 seconds. I've done 8 premade matches and 2 PUG matches. I've never been so bored in my life... I spent more time respawning then I did out of the spawn area. This does not just go for the DC or the TR or the GWF it goes for EVERY single class.. So instead of like pre mod4 where you had your node holder (HR, TR, GWF) and you had your node clearer (CW, HR, GWF, DC) You just have your node clearer (CW) and your node 'run and capture then run for your life and hope that a CW is not on his/her way' (Any class). What's wrong with this is that we need people that should be able to contest the node, if nobody can contest the node then it's gonna be who wins the fight at node 2 and takes two nodes. There's no problem with this except we have certain classes that are running around killing people in 3 hits (I said no class specifically therefore there's no way this is a nerf this class thread) and so it became a game where whoever has the most of that certain class wins the match. The matches now are so sickly boring, people are going on "I'm not pvping until **** changes" strikes, and we don't want that so therefore I'm gonna explain what we can do to make it better
What I Hope For PVP In The Near Future: Now we can ask the devs to nerf stormspell and add an ICD to Assailant and we can ask the devs to delete the HR class because people are going to cry about them no matter what... We can ask them to stop the GFs from finishing people off in one rotation and blah blah blah all that boring stuff. Or we can do something that actually would benefit us all instead of giving the next class a chance to be OP because honestly the PVP community can not take much more of the OP classes and the Nerfed classes, so here's what I suggest:
Why was tenancity introduced? TO STOP PLAYERS FROM KILLING EACH OTHER IN ONE ROTATION. What did tenancity do? STOP PLAYERS FROM KILLING EACH OTHER IN ONE ROTATION AND INSTEAD ALLOW PLAYERS TO KILL EACH OTHER IN 2 ROTATIONS
. Isn't that the best? Nope... Why isn't tenancity effective? Because even though the devs did us a huge favor in adding tenancity and removing prones, CWs cried and GWFs cried and TRs cried and GFs cried and I cried and You cried.. So what did they do? Give CWs a 700% buff to Storm Spell or something like that and adding 3 seconds to GWF stuns and giving the GFs a huge damage buff and they're probably gonna do something like +1000% to every power for TRs knowing the devs that sounds about right.
So the only way we can make a change without starting a rage cry from GWFs who "can't kill a ranged class" and CWs who "need more control" and GFs "who suck and should get a chance to be OP" and HRs who "Have no CC breaks or immunity" is to introduce more time by time distrupts so these rotations won't be able to be completed. What do I mean? I mean ****ing constricting arrow like encounters.. They're the only thing that would stop people from completing their rotation and that's why it was like a must have...
I Wanna Know More: Fine then! Lets give each class one
GWFs: Roar obviously, they changed the skill and every GWF is mad that it's close to useless so why not change this skill so that it dazes every second for 3 seconds. "In addition to the original stun, every second for 3 seconds your target remembers the mighty battle roar that was once sprung upon them sending them in to an immediate frightening daze"
GFs: So I think Knee Breaker would do. "Additionally each attack leads to a one second stun for the next 3 seconds" You guys can probably edit this because I stopped leveling this class due to me not really liking its mechanics and stuff but something along the lines
HRs: Not even a question give Constricting Arrow back
DCs: Definitely Chain of Blazing Light. "Additionally your chains continue to immobilize the target each second for 3 seconds as your holy runes strength decreases"
TRs: I thought about dazing strike because every other power was already a stun but if we're thinking that TRs are to underpowered for PVE why not make Wicked Reminder do this. "Your dagger pierces through the scalp of your hit targets causing them to daze in and out of consciousness each 0.5 seconds for the next 4 seconds.
CWs: Chill Strike without a doubt I think. "In addition your target freezes every second for the next 2 seconds" Okay I know 2 seconds isn't as great as the others but lets be honest CWs will live without the extra second.
I Have Rank 10s and Legendaries So I Disapprove: Well go **** yourself (jk). This will help a lot in PVP because it will stop the perma freezing and perma stun locking without making it impossible to do to a stupid target. Like back then (mod 2) if a CW got the HR in that CC before the HR got constricting on him it was followed up by a whole pile of death but if the HR got that constricting on him the CW could still live through it but it gave the HR an advantage. I feel this is the only way that we can stop people from dying in 3 seconds and actually get some node contesting and competition back in PVP
You Went a Whole Thread Without Asking For a Nerf So Bring It: Okay If you honestly think I should.... CWs Storm Spell is ****ing ridiculous along with Assailant don't even get me started on GFs since I don't know what encounters they're using to 1 rotation me but that's ****ing sad oh and HRs as one I honestly love you and don't think you're OP because of these 1 rotationers but I'm sure another nerf to wilds medicine is not far away.
I give you guys permission to comment on anything but the last paragraph because I'm just being silly there

- Destroyer as PvE DPS
- Sentinel as Tank PvP/PvE
- Instigator as PvP DPS (highburst/mobility glasscanon)
But atm GWF have Sentinel and Destroyer, this is why we GWF cry, because our burst is gone and we have only Sentinel left.

Well, anyway it's gonna be hard to make each class equal in PvP without impacting PvE now.
This is simply a game breaking bug. This happens. But what I can't understand is WHY no hotfix ?
I gave it paragraphs sections and basically chapters so you didn't have to read it all and it wouldn't be too confusing?
It's OP, but CW's are in a weird situation. They were nerfed and buffed at the same time. These things you mention are the major buffs, but if they were taken away, a CW couldn't go back to the old style of shard on tab because that was nerfed to hell.
Well if that's what you call giving everyone "the same ability" then everyone already has the same abilities which consist of heals, prones, stuns, ccs, DOTs, and DPS. So adding distrupts wouldn't really make the any difference except to better people off against prones and ccs
Honestly they can bring the CWs back to the way they were in Mod 3. Most were crying that they were underpowered but that was probably because they didn't know which encounters were most effective. The typical 2x ROE with COI and CS along with EF wasn't really enough to take my character down, all it did was debuff and most people would use CS first leaving no point to debuff except to use at wills which were never gonna kill anybody. The most effective CWs were probably the ones that had Shard on Tab along with CS, IR, and ET. They would always if anything get the closest to killing me. I honestly don't think the CWs were all that bad last mod, They served a huge significance in premades hence why a premade team always went in to PVP with one, not because of how now where they're the best, but they contributed soo much to the team. The typical 2x ROE with CS COI and EF would do best to help the team but if you're expecting to be a lone wolf CW then you gotta change up and since you're so great with teamwork you have to expect to not be as good in 1vs1 situations as other classes that don't have great team aspects.
CW was pretty bad in mod3 and would be worse if made the same for mod4. GWFs are almost completely un-CC'able and I'm not sure CWs had the damage output to kill a current GF, not to mention GFs are hitting like trucks now.
The only match-up that could be a little better for CWs is against HRs, because they don't have constricting arrow to bug out shard.
In any case they're not going to revert everything.
The PvE players are getting sick of all the PvP-induced class modifications!!

Actually if any nerfing is done to the CW is NEEDS to affect PvE
Since most high-end and hardcore players have switched to PVP, I wonder if Cryptic will decide to make PVP the endgame and adjust accordingly. PVE will still be the focus for new players and the mid-game.
