I knew it was broken from running into a premade tonight where 5 people were running them, but that video would be humorous if it wasn't so sad at the same time.
My suicide in that match where I discovered they were all running that glyph was probably just as bad though. dreadtheft on all 5 of em at once with it.
Blue Dragon Glyph: When dealing or taking damage you have a 25% chance to gain Aspect of the Lightning for 20 seconds, granting 400 defense and causing targets that hit you to take 400 damage.

Can someone explain the mechanic behind?? It looks like a suicide boomer who kills anyone who tried to kill himself.
You deal damage every time you take any damage. The reason the cleric died was because they both had it on so the rogue dealt damage from taking damage from her dealing damage from taking damage.
Simple.
It is a funny thing about this glyph though, if both have it neither can attack or they are both doomed.

LOL very true! I just did IWD Black Ice Dom with a GWF friend who has it too (I only bought mine to experiment I refuse to use it in Domination PvP) and everytime we accidentally hit each other (opposing sides) amid the chaos going on around us ...
It's only a PvP thing, unless Valindra decides to wear BI gear. Problem is, the enchant has OP factor in it. To counter it properly, you must use it too... but then you would both end up dead.
So, if both ppl have it, the one with higher hp will win?? *Radiant price spike*
No they will both die, the damage slope and incline is exponential. My proposed fix would be, remove the 60 seconds activation ICD, make it a flat 25% chance per damage taken and then add a 1 second ICD between each proc. Like Emblem of Seldarine and Wild's Med.
That hasn't been the case in my experience. When I use them, I will generally die before the other person who has them. I was also watching two CWs fight earlier with them and the one with 3k more HP would make it out alive, although just barely.

On second thought, ya, Stealth+ITC, Divine Exaltion, and some other immunity frames help, even Unstoppable, perhaps CW Shield too. Just not sure if an HP buffer can delay the inevitable in the way that these powers can.

Thanks for the heads up rust. I've been hearing things but never actually witnessed it upto that scale.
Visual evidence always helps.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
