Feedback: Leveling armor dye

While I think that the new dye is a decent idea to separate leveling gear from EPIC gear, etc... God please can we have a different default color than pink and brown? I mean, I don't mind having it be something that stands out a little, but.... GOD that color is just LAME!

    Is that for all classes, or just the Warlock, (I've only been leveling a SW, so can't speak of other classes 1st hand)?

    Not sure, I have only been really leveling a Dragonborn SW since Mod 4 launched, which is when they implemented the new leveling dye.

    OK, so I did a bit of checking around in PE, and saw both a low level TR and a low level DC; Both of their gear was dyed with "Questing Dye" and it was a brownish-grey & pale pink... So, yuck!

    I haven't seen the colors themselves, but I like the idea of not having all the gear the same color.

    Well, this current implementation seems to go against that - it seems all pre-60 gear, (haven't checked blue items yet), is this grey/tan & pink scheme... unless you mean that you prefer pre-60 gear look one way, and 60+ gear look another.

    Yeah, even the blues that are pre-60 are this awful color. If they are gonna go this route, they may as well not even bother making the armor look different from one class to another, as this just looks bland and silly. Why bother having leveling gear at all, with appearance, if it gonna look like complete trash? Sure you can hide your gear with costume clothes, or burn through a LOT of dye while you level, but that is just completely ludicrous.

    I do like the idea, over all, but the implementation is just ghastly.

    What they should have done was to give pre-60 gear more muted versions of their 60+ equivalents - so maybe softer blues for pre-60 CWs and more vivid ones once you hit 60.

    I got a dyed shirt from Ebon Downs for my CW. I wouldn't call it brown or pink--more Burgundy. A slightly purple-ish red. I like it alright. I think I'd prefer it in general to the blue. The blue is pretty boring, especially since every leveling CW is in the same blue.
