Is it me, or was the Level 30+ armor better than the level 42+?

I don't mean stat wise or anything like that, I just mean in general appearance. Well I kind of felt that way on my cleric to be blunt to, the level 30+ armor looked loads better and like armor, while my level 42+ left a lot to be desired.

But what I mean is appearance wise. There seemed to be a good theme going with the skull shaped clasps and belts and the grimoire on our hip and the reagent pouch. I liked where that was going. Then I get the level 42+ armor and the style completely changed. Where the 30+ seemed to be a continuation from when we were going from newbie on up, the level 42+ lost a lot of the elements. It looks drab, since I thought there would be a theme continuation there, with the Grimoire, reagent pouch, clasps and so forth with more additions. And I would prefer my midriff back to, but that's cause I like showing off as a woman to.

Anyways, just my opinion on the warlock gear and wondering if it's shared by anyone else. Would love to know what our tiered gear looks like to. Anyone have any pics of it that I can see?
