Back after hiatus... Q about companion stats

Hey guys, been awhile! Got back to NWO after being gone for a year.

A question: are the companions stats fixed since beta, or do they simply not use most of their stats like before? See this thread for reference:

Pretty much only offense stat that did anything back then was recovery. Lifesteal was awesome, most everything else was meh. Anybody got any ideas about this post-mod4? Has anyone tested this stuff since 2013?

    HP, Defense and Regen seem to always work. And as you said Lifesteal seems to work pretty well also. Not sure about the rest....

    Thanks for the reply, mconosrep... so basically, nothing new then? Same old, same old? I've noticed that the pet AI doesnt let them stand directly in red circles as much as they used to... so there's that. At least they move a little bit. :)

    Well some things may have changed but there has not been any newer posts about it as far as I am aware. Also there were claims that certain companions may benefit from some stats while other companions don't.

    But as HP, Regen, and Defense all seem to work, (and Lifesteal too), I tend to try to stick with those.
